After seeing all the positive reviews and hype about Loco Taco, we were excited to try it — but our experience couldn’t have been more disappointing.
We waited nearly 20 minutes for just two burritos and an empanada, and during that time we were never greeted or acknowledged. They were out of falafel, and the single employee working seemed completely uninterested and expressionless. What really concerned us was that he wore the same pair of gloves the entire time, touching the computer screen, utensils, and food without ever changing them.
The door to the kitchen was left wide open, leaving the food area exposed to the elements and insects — not exactly reassuring. When our food finally came out, it was cold, flavorless, and served in disappointingly small portions. The empanada was sitting in a puddle of grease that honestly looked like motor oil.
After hearing so many good things about this place, we expected something fresh and flavorful. Instead, we left feeling completely let down and regretful we...
Read moreI am completely blown away by this restaurant and the quality of the tacos I just had the pleasure of eating. Not only were they PACKED with their ingredients, but the flavor profiles of each unique taco creation was simply unmatched. I personally had the Arabes, Tikka Masala, and Greek tacos, and each one was full of their respective meats and toppings. I really love finding new and interesting dishes whenever I go out to eat, and this shop for sure expanded on what the normal limitations are that tacos usually fall into. I also would like to mention that the person working there was fantastic, and prepared these tacos to their highest potential for a pick up order that was 20 minutes to close. Very appreciative for that, as is my stomach 🌮 🌮 I am sadly just visiting this area, but will absolutely be returning at least once...
Read moreThe food was good, not great but nice and the prices very reasonable. However, we had to wait for over an hour to get the food with zero heads up that it would take that long even though we had small children in tow. And there was no one there so zero excuses. One kid asked for no coleslaw in her burrito but they put it in there anyway, which ruined it for her. I asked for cups so we could share our drinks to be told they didn’t have any but later I saw a huge stack on the fridge. When I pointed them out and asked for them, the guy behind the counter (who for all I know was waiter, cashier, and cook) acted all surprised and handed me a couple, but soiled them with whatever was smeared on his hands. I kid you not, a 70+ minute wait for food with no one ahead of us. No explantation or...
