McDonald's — Restaurant in Portland

Edited 10-7-2024 My review showed as 5 years ago and was:

"This McDonald's is very accurate with your order, and the people are very friendly!"

This is no longer the case. Last month, I was stuck in the drive thru for over a half hour. I made a mobile order before leaving home, so I already paid. The line wasn't even long - I was the 2nd car to the speaker. No apologies ever for the wait. Then my order was wrong. We were missing items, and the burgers were slapped together. One of the items missing was a fry, but we didn't really "miss" it because the ones we had were cold and soggy. When I finally got to a window, the employees inside were standing around with the window open, and I could hear their conversations were about anything besides work. The Vernors that my son got was just soda water. They must have been out of syrup. This was the worst experience I had had there, but it doesn't seem to be the last as we had some trouble the last few months before this and tried one more time afterward.

A shame - this used to be an amazing McDonald's. The ladies that work breakfast in the morning and have been there for many many years are still the best, but I fear that if the restaurant is not being managed well anymore that they will likely...

This was the worst customer service I have received at this location. The night staff looks like a bunch of teenagers that just mess around all night. I went there and ordered a 10 piece nugget and small fry, two different people were talking through the microphone so could barely understand what they were saying. Then when I paid for my food it looked like everyone was just huddled in the back talking while another vehicle was in front of me waiting for their food. To top it off I waited almost 10 minutes for items because they were all playing around. I could hear them hollering and whatever else. No one ever came to the window to let me know it would be a minute. Then when someone came walking up front to the window she realized I was still there and yelled back at them and said hey we forgot someone guys. Then she tried to give me someone else’s order. Being that it was 11:20 pm when I ordered my food and it was just me and one other vehicle I shouldn’t have been there until 11:35 to get my food waiting so they could play around and not do their job. Let’s see how it plays out when I call in...

Fast food?? Really!?!? Food was barely warm. Coffee not much warmer than the food. Our coffee had been sitting on the shelf in the lineup for half the time we had been waiting. We were there for 42 minutes waiting for our food. We had maybe a dozen or so other customers waiting about as long as us. Some others just left before getting their food even though they paid for the food. The old lady packing food yeld at everyone in the lobby... When someone asked how much longer? We warned a couple of cars that parked to come in what was going on... they turned around, heading back to their cars, saying, "Taco Bell it is!" And thanked us for letting them know. We normally don't go to McDonald's much since Covid. When did McDonald's get so expensive. People didn't go to McDonald's for the gourmet dining... they went because the price was cheapest to feed a family. It's almost cheaper to eat at...
