Mocks Bottom Cafe — Restaurant in Portland

This is such a great deli shop to go to! The owner is super cool and always willing to accommodate. Prices are pretty cheap, IMHO, with offerings of soups, sandwiches, and salads. There are daily soup and sandwich specials as well. They also have a small selection of cookies , muffins, and cold drinks.

So far, I have only ordered the bacon breakfast burrito, which is less than 8 dollars, and it's not your small frozen burrito that just gets reheated it made frome scratch with eggs, potatoes, bacon and cheese. They usually have some already made and ready to go.

I found this place pretty easily and they have good signage. When ordering they are very flexible they have online, a kiosk, QR codes around the place to make it easier to order, and then of course they a had very nice elderly oriental gentleman for ordering. I ordered a chicken avocado quesadilla and a small fountain the fountain drink was $2 for a small which is a bit much for only four different options of pop, but the food was not very expensive and tasted excellent especially since they gave me salsa and a sour cream with the quesadillas. These guys make a great sandwich. Ordered twice from Grubhub and both times they were lightning fast with our order. Everything is super fresh. I wish they had chips on their to go menu a la carte but whatever. nbd, right? Unfortunately they lose a star for being pathologically incapable of following directions such as "no mayo please!". TBH I can live with mayo if I have to but I've met some people who HATE it, which means there's a whole host of people out there eagerly opening their lunch orders only to find...
