My Syster moved to PDX 17 years ago and when she had her first child a year later we used to go to arbor lodge park. The degree of displacement through gentrification in PDX is astounding. As I was watching my 16 yr old niece play tennis yesterday, I looked around at the homes and the folks in the parks and it was apparent an entire neighborhood had changed in 15 years. The park is fine. I brought my dog nephew who is a "runner" and he did 'ok' with the offlease. It wasn't perfect, so I'll have to continue to bring him out to chimney park. Read moreI went here last Saturday and the park looks just as good as it did 3 years ago! There are plenty of activities and play areas for younger kids, and a lot of the playground equipment thats is wheelchair accessible. There's a tennis court, public restroom, and an area where you will see many people with their dogs. There is a parking area on-site and everything is pretty well kept. Has a great sidewalk loop that has been fantastic for teaching the kids how to ride bikes in a safe and controlled environment.
