Don't order the mac & cheese! haha. The burgers leave something to be desired to say they least.

I've been meaning to try this spot out for a while since I live within walking distance. I was hoping to make this place my go to bar but boy was I mistaken.

The staff appeared to not want to be at work, the music felt like a cheap floridian 18+ club minus the smell of cheap vodka (which they have if you are interested).

I see on the weekends they have a small crowd here and there and I hope they finally figure out their place in Portland as I think the location and space are prime for growth, but this place I will not be returning to.

At their current pace they will be out of business by the end...

They refuse to serve free tap water. Force you to buy $2 bottled water, regardless of how many alcoholic drinks you've purchased. Staff was also rude and confrontational when insisted on tap water. Their words: "We're not denying you tap water. You can take a glass and fill it up in the bathroom sink."

They are a large establishment. (Also, tiny bathrooms for their size, with long line on Fri night.) So I had to wait 10 minutes to enter the ladies' room and fill up a glass with warm water from the bathroom sink, with hairspray permeating the air as the two-person sink also functioned as a make-up station. Which would be fine... if it wasn't the establishment's only source of free...

Last night was my first time there and also my last time there. Service was trash. The bartender with the the funny eye brows skipped pass me my whole duration there. Like I spent my time there being ignored right in front of her at the bar. At a point it was comedic how hard she worked to avoid most the POC waiting at the bar. lol I just wanted 3 Redbulls 🤷🏾‍♂️. Glad I left early after being skipped for the 11th time, made it to a bar with a completely better bartender. Thanks though, I love learning experiences like this.
