Walked in and even though I was the only one inside and I had to wait around for the slender girl working to even acknowledge me. When I told here I was there for 2 $10 value bags for a Too Good to Go order she pointed to the day-old bagels and curtly told me to take two bags and a cream cheese. I confirmed that this was for two bags worth, as the advertised value didn’t add up, and she stared at me like I was such a hassle and slowly repeated herself in a manner like I was an idiot. Another customer entered the store and asked about his order and she snapped at him, so I decided to just take my two bags, one tub, and go. I would not recommend purchasing a deal with this Spielman’s through Too Good to Go, as I only received a $15 value (2x$5 day old bagels, 1x$5 cream cheese) instead of the $20 advertised. The experience of receiving lesser value products could have been okay if the girl working hadn’t been so unpleasant. Most bagels are fine even if they are a day old, but neither these nor the cream cheese were anything special. It is honestly not worth getting treated poorly to return and try again.
As a response to the reply: No, I did not receive a $25 value. The bagels I received were day-old so only $5 each, and one tub of cream cheese, also $5. That’s a $15-value and I had purchased 2...
Read moreI’ve been a long-time patron of Spielmans Bagels, but my recent experiences have been disheartening. The primary issue lies in the value proposition: the prices simply do not align with the quality of the bagels or the level of customer service provided.
In terms of the bagels themselves, they seem to have lost their charm. What used to be a delightful breakfast option now feels subpar and uninspired, falling short of the quality I had come to expect from Spielmans.
Customer service is another area where the establishment has regrettably declined. The staff’s approach can be best described as minimal effort, lacking the warmth and efficiency that once made Spielmans a go-to spot.
I’m also unsure if there’s been a change in management, particularly in comparison to the Division location, which seems to maintain a higher standard in all aspects.
Lastly, the atmosphere of the place doesn’t add anything to the experience. It feels devoid of the vibrancy and welcoming aura that often accompanies a good bagel shop.
In summary, while it pains me to say this about a place I once loved, I can’t recommend Spielmans Bagels in its current state. The overall experience, from the bagels to the service and atmosphere, is...

I used to think Spielman’s had a decent bagel, but after my last two experiences at this location I have to change my mind and inform the public that you will get a dry day(s) old bagel after waiting 20 minutes for an un-toasted bagel with cream cheese.
They are clearly not baking their bagels on the premises and are willing to sell you a $5 bagel that tastes days stale. The cream cheese was nothing special and had a hard texture.
The GenZ folx working there are obviously poorly managed and didn’t have any eggs to give about the inaccuracy of the orders they handed out.
This spot has an atrocious parking situation that would be worth it if the bagels were boiled chewy moist deliciousness like they should be.
Stick to the other boiled bagel locations for a decent bagel with potential for great lox and...
