Amazing. Locally sourced meats and veggies, all crafted into incredible, lively dishes. My husband and I both love love Thai food. Lunch date? Dinner date? We want Thai. This place tops them all and we continue to drive here even though we've moved and are now over half an hour away. You gotta try Phad Kee Mao, #25. I have dreams about those noodles. Soft, ricey, covered in amazing sauce....the best. And Phad Gra Prao #14 is great if you want rice and aren't feeling the curry options. Although I have tried all the curries and they're all great too. Especially the pumpkin red curry. But really, you cannot go wrong with any item this place has to offer. Be sure to get a pot of the Townshend's tea! We have a hard time finishing the tea, so I'd say 1 pot is enough for 2-4 people to share. Check this place out for sure! On top of delicious, amazing flavors, you also get to support a place that sources locally whenever possible! We've tried every other Thai place East of the Willamette and nothing beats this place. Note: Thai Noon on Alberta is their sister property if you are closer to the art district!
Edit/update 02/21/2017. Unfortunately, something must have changed with the ownership of this place. Over the past year or two, it seems to have gotten worse and worse. The flavors are lacking, they stopped caring about where they sourced their food, and they increased the prices quite a bit. We have been disappointed the past 5 visits and do not plan to go back. Changing my 5 star...
Read moreBest Thai food in NE PDX. I've tried others but always come back to Thai Seasons. Fresh Fresh Fresh!!! everytime i go somewhere else i'm disappointed with the veggies in the dishes... usually not enough and so many places seem like they use canned veggies - or yesterday's. At Thai Seasons, the flavors are bold, the veggies are firm and bright. I also appreciate the menu on their website indicates Gluten Free to take the guess work out of it. I don't know if this is a family run business, and even though i usually order for takeout, I always feel like a friend is welcoming me into their home to share a meal. Thai Seasons is my go-to for those "I don't want to cook tonight" days... usually a couple times a month :)
oh yeah... don't be discouraged by street parking.. there's a little parking lot in the back behind...
Read moreUpdate 4/18/22: After moving across the water and trying many other Thai spots in the area, 6 years later, this is still my favorite Thai restaurant. The service is still very friendly and the food is just as great as I remember. I tried two entirely new items (fried fish and Thai iced tea with lime) and it blew my mind how fresh and flavorful they were. It was refreshing to eat out again and not walk away disappointed. Really, my only complaint is that I don't live close by anymore. I'm happy that they've maintained the same quality and service after all of these years.
We have been here a few times and each time is just as great if not better. The service is always prompt and friendly. The northern style curry noodle soup is one of my favorites here! The pad see Mao is really good too. ...
