Pulled into this place for a break on the way home from a trip up north. Right off the bat we liked the location. It was just off the highway. First thing we had to do was use the facilities. The men's room was down for maintenance. The soap dispenser and paper towels are motion activated and didn't work well. Adam, the cashier, heard this and addressed it right away. We didn't have to tell him. Nice! Now, onto Adam. If there was ever a man who is perfectly suited for what he does it's this gentleman. He's got a projecting voice that sounds like the life of the party. A great representation of the head of house. He was very thorough with our orders to make sure they were right. We got our food and sat down. Oh my goodness, to be able to dine in again! Love the new look of table and chairs and NO MORE BOOTHS! Booths just collect dirt. Yuck. I've never liked them. The dining room was bright, airy, and very clean. The fireplace with coffee chairs and tv is a nice touch. I wanted to hang out! We sat at a couple of tables to enjoy our food, and this is the reason for the 5 stars. It was the best Wendy's food I ever had. There was char on my burger. Char! The bacon and onion strings were impeccably crispy, and the sandwich held together. Someone knows and cares what they are doing. The crew was all business. Read moreCustomer service was awful. There was an older gentleman who had been waiting on a burger for quite sometime while we were waiting in line. As we started to order he asked if it would be done soon and the cashier responded by telling him their drive thru was really busy right now. He pointed out that the inside was busy too as there were several people in line to order and she told him they had to worry about the drive thru first and that the drive thru is on a timer. I have never been somewhere that the employee tells their customers that other customers are more important than the rest. This location needs a lot more training on how to run the drive thru and inside efficiently at the same time and better customer service skills. We are only giving a two star review because the food was great. They also had a obviously new person up front doing the drinks only so she practically stared at all of the customers waiting to order. Read moreThis is the first negative review that I have ever written online, so you can imagine how awful the food and service was. We sat in line for 15-minutes with two cars in front of us. When we tried to place our order, we were asked to wait which we did for over 3-minutes before they took our order. We ordered two hamburgers and got back on the road. We both took a bite out of our hamburgers and they were both cold. Too late to turn back. Whoever owns this franchise should loose it for such bad supervision, although he will probably go out of business soon because of how bad the franchise was run. Also, whoever is the supervisor from Windy's for this franchise should loose his /her job if they allow this to BAD representation of Wendy's continue. My best advice to anyone reading this review is to avoid the aggravation and stop at this Wendy's.
