If you haven’t been, you should feel VERY left out. Blue Door stands out with service, quality, and timeliness. Our waitress, Melinda was exceptional, quick, friendly, and quite frankly, the best! The BLT, Thanksgiving Sandwich, and Chinese Chicken Salad were one for the books. They also have great size portions, great coffee and pastries! If they were open for dinner, we would come back tonight. RUN, don’t walk to Blue Door. You won’t regret it. This place is fantastic - especially for Portola! Came with family and between all our food we were incredibly impressed.

The BLT bread was perfectly grilled and bacon was good and crispy. The taco salad had a ton of flavor, and the grilled chicken sandwich had a whole chicken breast and wasn't too dry.

The service was really good and everyone was super friendly, and the restaurant was clean and modern.

We'll certainly be back for breakfast and the pastries when we are back...

Just had lunch there today with my family. The restaurant is beautifully done on the inside and the food was marvelous. We had the great privilege of being served by the remarkable Melinda. She was so hospitable and quick with service! The batista was also incredible and fast as well. Absolutely would be back for the food alone but the staff really added to the experience.
