Food is reliably well made, and what you'd hope to expect from a McDonald's. They're a pretty good example of what you'd hope to get from a McDonald's.
At this particular location, parking is tight, and during peak hours, often congested with the drive thru. They have very little control over how parking and the drive thru is laid out, as the surrounding properties are owned by other people. Their location isn't necessarily in a bad part of town, but there's regularly people nearby trying to beg cash out of you. Again, they've little control over that.
On many occasions, I've been asked to pull ahead to a waiting area, and wait for items to be finished. When this happens, I'll often ask for condiments to be brought out for my food, assured it will be in the bag, and more times than not, it isn't. I've started to not expect my requested condiments as a result, and I'll definitely not be making another round through their congested drive thru/parking area over ketchup and sauces.
Food is solid and well made, service is friendly but often forgetful over miniscule things, parking and drive thru is often tight and congested.
None of these small problems prevent me from returning, however. All fast food restaurants have their drawbacks and upsides.
Their reliably well made food keeps me coming back, despite the beggars, parking, and...
Read moreThis is the first time I have written a review about an employer and their treatment of employees. I understand that it is more so for customers, but I need to explain the practices of some of the managers at this location, Galia Street location, next to Clark's gas station. Some of you may not be interested or care but it needs to be said, if you do not agree that is absolutely fine. I worked at this location for a week, I was treated with disregard, intolerance, belittlement and rudeness. There are a few managers that are considerate, nice, and they treat the entire crew with respect and equality..I was more than willing to learn and complete the job to the best of my abilities and I'm not one to shy away from work, thing is people need to be shown what to do, I had numerous times encountered people stepping in front of me and completing the order. I was scheduled from 4=12 but consistently told, "go home" after only working a few hours, I have approximately 10 hours for a week. I do not believe that anyone should have to put up with managing practices such as the ones used by shift managers at...
Read moreSo to start off the drive thru experience was pretty normal and fine. Then, we went to the first window to pay and I hand my card over and say hi to the girl... She says nothing at all to me and so I said aloud to my fiancé how she did not say anything to me, no thank you, nothing. She then says thank you as if she heard my remark and had to be rude back to me and hands me my card. I then pull to the second window and say hi and thank you for the drink she handed to me. EXACT THING, says absolutely nothing to me and proceeds to not let us know why we were waiting for the food. Which in my opinion you should let your customers know what the hold up is, such as "it'll be a second, we're waiting for fries". But nope she did not say a word. I know the whole reason they acted that way was because we were the only ones in line at the time, but it was still disrespectful and I go to this McDonald's...
