Went here on a Tuesday. Had the unfortunate event of having Nicole as our server. I never leave a bad review; unless it was pretty out there. And this experience was. Came here with 6 people, all who which work in the service industry; on my worst night couldn’t imagine treating a customer like this. Took one hour to get water. After asking 3 times she said I told you I’d be back with it. Yet never did; ended up going to the bar and Brian wonderfuly served us, Along with I believe her name was Brandie who took over water and apologizing for our table. Our appetizers came out two hours later along with our main course ; 5 min after. When another member of our table asked the lovely Nicole why it came out all at once and cold she announced “ I told you that’d how it would be” then the two people who ordered tacos got theirs anout 20 min after. I could go on but long story actually shortened; went to pay. Nicole spoke no words to us . Poor brian was running all around and helping serve all Nicole’s tables and having to profusely apologize for her.. Brian we will be back for you at the bar. Beautiful place. But to me service can make or break an experience and this one is definitely broken.

They've done a nice job with this place. Entering, It feels less like a traditional golf pro shop and more like a hotel lobby area, complete with bar and restaurant. We came to try the food and had a nice experience for the most part out on the patio. If the weather is right, it is a very nice place to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and have your meal. Food was good, service was decent, didn't care for the plastic chairs to sit in which cheapened the whole experience IMO. There is a golf cart path thruway right next to the outer tables that is too close IMO. Carts were zooming past just feet beside us and there were some rude drivers for sure. One guy parked his cart about a foot away from our table while we were sitting/eating. He then proceeded to have a very loud conversation with the table right behind us which was also placed too close together to ours as we were literally bumping elbows and chair backs. Management needs to consider pulling the outside tables in a little bit or redesigning the flow so that this doesn't distract from the dining patrons experience. Overall we liked the restaurant and plan to come back.

Queso and chips were great. The cheese curds were delicious- honey sauce with jalapeños was such a great combination. The curds themselves were not super fresh, so a bit rubbery. I would go here again but only for drinks and appetizers. It looked like a lot of people were ordering burgers so for next time.. also, i would maybe come a bit earlier in the evening since we came at 7:15. It tasted like some of our food was cooked earlier and re-warmed up in the microwave. I had the chicken melt based on another positive review and the chicken was tough. The rest of the sandwich was good, crispy bread /cheese crust, soft inside, bacon and bell pepper sauce was memorable. My husband's pulled pork on his fries/queso was ridiculously dry, like maybe they tried to melt the cheese from a broiler and it made the meat like jerky. Rest of his was good though. Our friends had the pizza and they said it was ok but not anything they would crave or come back for. The dueling pianos was great! A bit loud for having a conversation but awesome for entertainment. Service was good.

Walking into Iron, Wood & Ice Urban Kitchen & Bar was like stepping into a welcoming oasis. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making us feel right at home. The restaurant's location next to a golf course added a unique touch, as we could watch others tee off while enjoying our meal. The backdrop of the Idaho sky enhanced the experience, creating a picturesque setting for a memorable dining experience.

Our dining experience was taken to the next level by the exceptional service provided by Jaclyn. From the moment she greeted us, her genuine friendliness and warmth made us feel like cherished guests. She struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space to enjoy our time. Unlike some places that rush you through the ordering process, Jaclyn patiently allowed both my wife and me to order when we were ready, never making us feel like just another table.

Throughout the meal, she maintained delightful conversation, offering recommendations and ensuring our orders were accurately taken. Jaclyn's attentiveness extended beyond just taking our orders; she followed up with us to make sure our food tasted great and frequently kept our beer glasses full. Moreover, when it came time to settle the bill, she allowed us to do so at our own leisure, allowing us to bask in the wonderful atmosphere and enjoy each other's company without feeling rushed. We even received a visit from an owner of the restaurant who also made us feel right a home from her engaging conversation about herself, her outlook of the restaurant and where she wants to see it go, how she viewed and hired her employees, to the overall menu and ambience of the restaurant.

The menu at Iron, Wood & Ice Urban Kitchen & Bar was a delight to explore. It offered a wide variety of dishes, including excellent vegetarian options like the veggie pasta and broccoli soup. For appetizers, we tried the Havarti Dill Pickle Spears, and they were absolutely amazing. For the main course, we ordered the Hells Gate Burger and Alaskan Fish & Chips, both of which were simply fantastic. Jaclyn even suggested adding deep-fried onions to the Hells Gate Burger, and that made it even more delicious.

While Iron, Wood & Ice Urban Kitchen & Bar impressed us in many ways, there is room for improvement in their digital footprint. Their website was informative and user-friendly, but the issue arose when trying to access their social media accounts. Clicking on the Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter widgets only redirected us back to their website, hindering our ability to see what others were sharing or talking about on those platforms.

In conclusion, our dining experience at Iron, Wood & Ice Urban Kitchen & Bar was truly delightful. The charming atmosphere, combined with Jaclyn's exceptional service, made us feel like valued guests throughout our visit. The menu offered a wide array of delectable dishes, accommodating both meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. While their digital footprint could use some improvement, it did not detract from the overall experience.

We will undoubtedly be returning to this wonderful restaurant for more fantastic food, great service (requesting Jaclyn of course), and an inviting atmosphere.

Overall Score: Atmosphere - 4/5 Customer Service - 5/5 Menu and Variety - 5/5 Digital Footprint - 3/5 Would We...

Worst service I believe I've ever gotten. She wasn't very nice from the moment she came to the table. We were there almost 2 hours to eat breakfast. Took about 20 minutes before anyone came to get our drink order after they seated up. Then the coffee came and one in party had ordered decaf. So about another 10 minutes before the decaf came. She asked for honey for the coffee and we had 2 people waiting on us at that time and still had to ask 3 times for the honey. Asked I don't remember how many times for more water, and then she only filled a couple glass and not the whole table. Food came and she brought the wrong food to the one person and went back to reorder it and still brought the wrong food. So she just said the heck with it and ate the wrong meal. And so we asked for separate checks and out of party of 6, she had 4 tickets wrong. And when we ask for them to be corrected, she said the the software didn't like to split checks and wasn't very nice about it. And still brought a wrong check and by then we had enough and just paid the wrong one. It was less than the wrong meal she had gotten. What restaurant doesn't have the ability to split checks. She mumbled under breath the one time she was leaving the coffee, so she wouldn't have to keep coming back to our table. She had asked for more decaf a couple times before receiving it. The place was not busy and we were not the only table not receiving items and getting wrong food brought out. I really hope she was having an off day. And I've never left such a bad tip before, but left like 15 cents from me, and the rest of the party left her just a few cents. Food was wonderful and would go back and hopefully get a better server with a...

Let me start by saying the atmosphere was amazing. The service and food on the other hand were awful. We were told that the kitchen messed up so bad on orders that they were behind 30-60 mins. We decided to stay and check the place out. We ended up sitting on the couches while we waited for our food. Our waitress came up to us and let us know she had just sat our food down at our table. We walked to the table and the first thing I see is that they added random stuff on top of my nachos. To my surprise there were jalapeños and green onions covering my food. I don’t eat either of those things so my dinner was ruined. My boyfriend’s prime rib was cold the moment we sat down. It’s not like we took our sweet time walking to our table, so that means his food was cold before he got it. Our waitress didn’t come back to check on us and even made a comment when she brought the check that since she didn’t come back for a while it gave us time to want dessert. Absolutely not!! I called the next day and spoke with a manager and wow is all that comes to mind. She had no personality and blamed us for the food being wrong and cold on the fact that we sat on the couches while we waited for our meal. She was beyond rude and unhelpful. I had to call back since I missed their call regarding what they would be doing to make this situation right and I don’t know if it was the same manager but man she was beyond rude too!! Argued with me about our service experience and only offered the refund the nachos. No one cared about the cold prime rib. I will NEVER go back, nor would I ever recommend them to...
