SIMPLY AMAZING! I had thought that Braum's was "just another Dairy Queen clone", until I finally stopped in & discovered there is SO much more to their store. In addition to DQ style fast food, they also sell farm-to-table groceries, greens, & frozen farm produce (including fresh cuts of beef & other meat.). The quality is all "top shelf" but the prices are quite reasonable, esp. for a gallon of whole milk that tastes like it came right from my grandpa's farm in Innis, LA. I shop there first, now, and only go to WallyWorld for things that Braun's does not carry. WELL worth 5 minutes just to stop in & see the merchandise that they have to offer.
(FULL DISCLOSURE: I still prefer the Whopper, over at BK; the hamburger I ate at Braum's was adequate & filling, but I still like the flame broiled taste of the Whopper much better. I guess Braum's can't be #1 at everything, although they sure do...
Read moreBrahms in Poteau is really not worth the hassle. We ordered breakfast really easy big breakfast one with ham and one with no meat and a bagel instead of biscuit. To be fair I did order the burrito and then changed it to the big breakfast with no meat and bagel. We went up we told her this is ridiculous we don’t have time to wait again just give us back our money Except we got a coffee so you know take the money out for the coffee’s. The manager says no don’t worry about the coffees they are on us, and then tells the cashier to give us back the money for everything but the coffees because we did get...

The Down Side...... 1)Insanely busy at 2 pm. Had to wait forever to order, and then wait forever again to get our food. 2) Ordered the bag of burgers - which is a great price deal, and it usually pretty good little burgers. NOT so much this time - the burgers were overcooked, pretty dry with almost no ketchup to relieve the dryness. Pretty lousy, and NOT up to usual standards.
The Good Side: 1)The Frozen Yogurt Twist Cone.... Ordered a Junior size- which is plenty big and real cheap and low in calories. And..... this is the BEST frozen yogurt I've ever had - as good or better than real ice cream from some other places. 2) The Staff - As always, very friendly, courteous...
