La Mesa Poteau — Restaurant in Poteau

The mango chicken has been my go-to when I've gone, and it's really good. The proportions are completely inconsistent. The first time I went I got a lot of chicken, a lot of rice, and a little bit of vegetables. The second time I went I got a little bit of chicken, a lot of rice, and a lot of vegetables. The third time I went I got a lot of chicken, a little bit of rice, and a lot of vegetables. I think they still have a lot of tweaking on the menu items, but everything is seasoned very nicely. Also, the salsa doesn't taste the same every time, but I would compare the taste to Taqueria Bravo's salsa on good days. Overall, good food, just inconsistent...

Probably the worse place I've eaten. Chips and salsa were about the only good thing I ate. They brought out my boyfriends food 5 minutes before mine. I ordered the steak and shrimp. The steak was nasty. No flavor and small. I couldn't even eat it because it was so rubbery. The shrimp was undercooked and crunchy. When they brought out the second order of chips we didn't get any salsa. The hot sizzling cast iron plates they bring the food out in are rusted.It was a waist of $50. Nobody came and checked on us. The one time they did I mention my dislike of the steak and not a word from them. I will not be back that...

We love the other mesa locations but this one here has been all bad from the start the only consistency they have is that the food is bad every time just being honest here i took one bite last night and right away determined i would just save it for my dog right to hell with wasting money i take it home and lay it down and my poor dog wouldnt even eat it they dont season the meat or the cheese if you are looking for good mexican food try another mesa this one is all bad has been from the start with 0 change you are better off at taco bell...
