My sister and I tried Milano's Italian restaurant for the first time today. My sister had been wanting to try it and she was excited to take me there. Well, when we went in the waitress, Who, by the way, refused to tell me her name, but she had an accent Was extremely rude from the very beginning. And I'm talking about whenever we were just asking about food and what they served and just general questions. She literally had a face that what was it's telling both me and my sister that we were bothering her annoying her and all around just a nuisance to her and not just her facial expressions but her. Words her actions. Now I have been A waitress myself and I've been a customer. A bunch of times more than I can count. And it wasn't that busy, so it's not like. She was in a rush and didn't have time to answer questions for us. She just didn't want to and when she came back after she brought us our drinks. I said something to the point of I'm sorry I offended you or you know I'm not trying to bother you. She truly truly ruined our entire experience. And we will not be going back and our bill just for us Was over $40 so as I'm leaving. I asked her her name and she. Refuse to tell me and so I took some pictures which I'm gonna post. The food portions were tiny tiny. It was okay, I also was so upset about the whole thing. I took some pictures of some other things around poteau And just a few minutes later went back to see if I could speak with a manager or something. But she's the one that open the door I once again ask her her name and she said. What do you need to know my name for and I said because I'm A. Reviewer, and I'm gonna write a review about you. And she said, what did I do to you? That was rude and if you could hear my tone as I'm typing. I said that right there, the way you're speaking to me. You were rude since the moment I walked in. And she refused to tell me her name so little. Did she know that I'm in the top 10%? Of restaurant reviewers on Google. So I hope that the owner of that restaurant reads this and she deserves to be fired and we deserve our money back. But she really does deserve a something because she totally was the rudest waitress. I have ever met in all my life. I'm gonna find out her name and when I do. I'm gonna put it in here. Shame on you, little girl...
Read moreUpdate 3 months later and we still haven't gone back. We had thought we might try it again, but not after they blocked me on Facebook for leaving a constructive review. I won't give a place like this my business. However, since then we've given Olive Garden and Mazzios lots of business! 😂
Appetizer and entrees were good, but I can make just as good at home. So the food is equivalent to home made, without you cooking. With the exception of the dessert, which was straight out of a box from somewhere and I didn't care for it at all.
Truly, we had higher opinions of the place before we had flies in our food, literally IN OUR FOOD, and the manager was unconcerned when the waitress let her know. Never came and apologized or anything. When I mentioned it at checkout, she said yeah, she knew, they're horrible and they put in some blue plugins. So we paid $15 for a dish that was not touched because of their pest issue. Had she made any effort to correct the bill or send home a replacement so my daughter, who was why we went here in the first place, could eat, the situation would have been redeemed. As it was, my daughter will be eating my leftovers, or something at home.
My daughter's favorite food in the world is Alfredo. And being from a major city, with infinitely better food options than a small town, she was excited to try this place. However after the way this was handled, I'm not so sure she'll want to go here again.
On a positive note, the server was a total sweetheart. But management left much to be desired. When we walked in, she was scolding what would end up our server, at the front for all to hear and see, for something beyond her control. Serving helped put me through college, so I know how it can be, and that was unprofessional. Managing a restaurant is stressful, especially when you just open, but any issues that need to be addressed with employees should be handled discreetly, not at the door with...
Read moreSeemed like a nice place but was treated very rudely by the hostess who basically let me know, after politely waiting for several minutes, that they didn't want to seat me at the open table, which I had been offered just 5 minutes earlier, (to clarify I had not actually seen that the table would seat 6. All I had seen from where I was waiting were small tables and politely informed her that we were actually 4 people, as my boyfriend had stepped out and I thought she might have assumed we were just 3 people. I told her that I thought we'd beore comfortable in a booth and didn't mind waiting for a bit longer) she left and another lady came out with a very rude attitude. I told her I didn't realize they had larger tables and that we'd be happy to sit in one, that's when she informed me that it was no longer being offered and that they wouldn't be cleaning the booth, "for a really long time" (which had been empty the entire time I'd been waitingat least 10 minutes). I completely understand being busy and overwhelmed. But this was blatant rudeness. I was trying to work out an amicable compromise but she told me in so many words that she was there to "see me out" I was floored by such unsolicited hostility. It honestly felt like she thought she was "the muscle" handling an unruly customer, except I had not been rude and was actually in a really good mood after an inspiring church service. My guess is that she's related to the owners and feels no obligation to provide polite customer service, as her job is likely secure. Well good luck staying open when you treat potential customers like some kind of enemy at the door. Subway was...
