Dear McDonald’s Customer Service,
My name is Sally Smirh, and I’m writing to file a formal complaint regarding a very disappointing and frustrating experience I had today—July 11, 2025, at approximately 10:23 AM—at the Potterville, Michigan McDonald’s location.
When I entered the store, I saw a young male employee on his break and an older female employee walking around and chatting with a couple seated in the dining area. I stood at the front counter for over five minutes without any acknowledgment or assistance.
The young man who had been on break eventually got up and offered to find someone to help me. In the meantime, I tried to place my breakfast order using the kiosk, but it didn’t work either. I returned to the front counter and continued waiting.
Finally, someone came over and took my order, but after another 10 minutes of waiting, I was told they could no longer fulfill my breakfast order because the store had switched to the lunch menu. I explained that if the woman who had been socializing instead of assisting customers had helped me when I arrived, my order would have been placed in time.
Out of frustration, I tossed the napkins and two straws I had in my hand onto the counter—not at anyone—and requested a refund. The same woman falsely claimed I had thrown the items at her. Then, a homeless woman entered the store and began yelling at me for simply asking for my money back. The situation escalated unnecessarily, and the manager came out and told ME to leave—despite the fact that the delay and mismanagement were clearly on the store’s part.
I left feeling disrespected, unfairly accused, and extremely disappointed and embarrassed in the behavior and professionalism of the staff. I am requesting a full refund for my order and an apology for how I was treated.

Read moreI recently had the Steak, Egg, and Cheese Bagel at the McDonald's on Elm Street, and it was a surprisingly satisfying breakfast. I've been looking for something a bit more substantial than the usual McMuffin, and this definitely delivered. The bagel itself was warm and chewy, a nice change from the standard English muffin. The steak was tender and flavorful, not chewy or tough like I've experienced at other fast-food places. The combination of the melted cheese and the perfectly cooked egg made it a hearty and delicious breakfast sandwich. What impressed me most was the quick service, even though I ordered during the peak morning rush. The staff at the Elm Street location is always efficient and friendly. My order was accurate, and the bagel was served hot and fresh. This particular McDonald's consistently delivers a clean and welcoming atmosphere, which is always appreciated, especially in the mornings. It's a great spot to grab a quick and tasty breakfast before heading to work. If you're looking for a hearty and flavorful breakfast option, I highly recommend the Steak, Egg, and Cheese Bagel at the Elm Street McDonald's. It's a great way to start your day, and this location consistently provides...
Read moreWent there around 4:20 in the drive thru, left about 4:40... i drive to the outside lane and myself and 1 person was waiting for order to be taken. Other person order gets taken, I sit and wait and then I watch3 cars get their orders taken and drive ahead after i had already been sitting waiting. I drive up to the window and the confused look begins. This person asks if I have been cashed out before i explain "no ive been sitting in the drive thru for the past 5 min watching 3 cars go ahead of me before I would like to speak to a manager." "Oh well do you know what you want?" "Yes, and I would like to speak to a manager." "Uhh ok." No one brings a manager, i back up and get out of line, park, walk inside and ask to speak to a manager. I explain the situation and I get the excuses of "theirs no technical difficulties" and "I dont know where my back window people are Im sorry." Only part of my meal was comped for the excessive waiting thru the drive thru, and my fries were cold. I get it, its a long day and you dont need a pissed off customer at your counter, however do something extra to make it right I was there for 20 min and my food was just awful. And because my food was bad/cold fries I write a 1...
