I came to visit ATL and decided to check out 2 Chainz restaurant. By far the worst! The worst! I gave Grace because the young lady was working by herself. But never underestimate the flow of traffic into your restaurant. My friend and I arrive at 2:55 pm and sat at the bar. The young lady said I’ll be right with you. Mind you it was on 10 ppl in the restaurant. My friend and I. A table of two ppl and a table of 6 of ppl who just about done. The girl finally made her way to us at the bar to ask us what we wanted at 3:20 pm. We ordered 2 drinks and the hookah. We didn’t receive our drinks until 3:56 pm. Mind you we said can we order food now. We still have yet to even get a glass of water. So we have now been in this establishment for an hour and only received our drinks. At this time the table of 6 has left. Now it’s only 4 of us. She comes back to us and takes our food order at 4:15 pm. I asked her were was the hookah? She said oh I have to make it! 🤷🏾♀️ she finally brings the hookah out at 4:45 pm. 🤦🏾♀️ now we have been in this establishment 2 hours and only have received 2 drinks and a hookah. We are now looking for another drink. The food finally comes out at 5:06 pm. The food was okay. The young lady ask us if we drink casimigos? I said no, she says on well I was going to take a shot with y’all but I only can do casimigos! Why would I want a shot of casimigos if I’m not drinking that! Young lady I’m sorry! That’s not a preference of liquor I drink. The manager came out once we were leaving and asked how was everything I said you all are extremely slow! She said I know, I know , we are working on that. I said ma’am… we have been here almost 3 hours unnecessarily. Just waiting on my drink, food and hookah! I asked for the check to see if they showed any grace for the inconvenience our bill was extreme for poor service and 4 drinks, Chicken tenders and fries, wings and fries and a hookah which came up to $160.00. Please do not come here and be disappointed. Trust me! Not worth the energy and time! Y’all need some...
Read moreThis Saturday my family and I decided that we wanted to check out this place after we saw it on Instagram and we also wanted to support a black business.
When we arrived there, we sat at our table after 10 minutes, we were only 3 ppl. We waited 30 minutes until someone finally brought us a glass of water. After waiting another 20 minutes, we finally got our order in. The DJ was playing with reasonable volume and the music was great… fast forward, another 45 minutes, our food still hasn’t came out. The restaurant is a complete mess, they brought the wrong food to our table twice and you can see how impatient other people are getting as well. The kitchen staff and the servers look confused! The manager is walking around serving hookahs, inside the restaurant, this is the first time I’m seeing hookah being served inside a restaurant especially with kids around… If this is an 18+ venue, this should be listed on your website and social media or the manager should’ve told us at the tome that we walked in with a child.
After an hour of waiting, the server comes to our table, saying that the system went down and our order got mixed up or something so we had to wait for another 15 minutes until we finally got our food… at that point, the DJ turned the music louder and people could barely have a conversation anymore, hookahs are being served inside the restaurant and it quickly turned into a club, at 1 pm in the afternoon…. A total mess!
The food was extremely salty and acidic, and gave me the worst heartburn ever for 2 days. When the server brought our bill, she even had the nerve to select the tip percentage for us before she handed the check to us, who does that???
I was extremely disappointed and truly regret that I chose this place to have brunch with my family. I always try to support black businesses but why can’t we elevate our service? We just need to do better!
I wish I could give you 0 stars if that was possible to do! Don’t waste your time or money...
