Antojitos Mexicanos — Restaurant in Powell

Quaint little Mexican joint selling rather Authentic food. I lived in South Texas for 5 years and this is as close as I've tasted since leaving. They also serve breakfast tacos/burritos. Bacon, egg, and cheese is standard, but they often make me bean and potato too, I just have to ask. They take cash and card. There are 3 small booths that seat 4, and 2 larger tables to seat 6 each. They also now have a dessert case (new since I was last here). They open at 7am on weekends. They make everything fresh to order, so be prepared to wait a minute, trust me, it's worth it. I do not believe there is a restroom, but I don't know for sure since I've always gotten takeout. Great value (large amounts of food)...

It has come to my attention that a review mentioned our restaurant having cockroaches. I want to clarify this matter. Here is our health inspection score from when we first opened and another one from this month. As you can see, we have maintained a good score.

If there had ever been an issue like that, we would not have been allowed to remain open. We take cleanliness and food safety very seriously, and our customers’ trust means everything to us. We request for pest control to come every month to do their routine.

DELICIOUS!! My new favorite Mexican restaurant! My husband and I took our two toddlers here and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely AMAZING. Everything we ordered was authentic and we were so impressed. The owner and all of the staff were so kind and welcoming to us and our little ones.
