Ohhh where to start. When our large group came in of 14, we did not have enough chairs and actually had to fix that issue ourselves, which isn't a big deal. They brought 3 baskets of chips for our LARGE group with several ramkins of nasty salsa. We ordered soda for almost everyone except 3 who had water or coffee. The waitress who ONLY came by AFTER we waved her down got our drinks wrong time and time again until we said forget it. Our drinks were never refilled, chips weren't either. Food was absolutely AWFUL. My burrito supreme had some kind of meat that did not resemble chili meat at all. Another dish was the carne asada, steak fajitas too, which smelled rancid and tasted even worse. They did fix it by taking it off our SEPARATE tickets, which weren't even correct when we went to pay. We actually had to get up, go find our waitress to pay, which, again, is not a huge problem when they have a front counter to pay at. Once we finally paid, the owner and 2 waitresses (one off the clock!) Chased after us saying we didn't pay the 3rd ticket after I had already verified everything was correct on my ticket which MAGICALLY appeared right after we tried to leave. After a slight argument in the parking lot, they finally said they "wouldn't worry about it as they didn't want to upset us" at this time, im already mad. My food was awful, my husband is puking in the parking lot and did so all the way home. Oh, and the bathrooms? No toilet paper, paper towels and trash all over the floor. I highly advise NOT going here. I swear they reuse all the food left over from other plates. Normally, we dont have any issue with a huge group and we all tip very well, but not this time. Very disappointing birthday dinner and we will...
Read moreI have eaten at this place twice, and each time the hostess was incredibly rude, we are a family of five and both times she tried to cram my family into a table meant for four people; when I requested a larger table she seemed incredibly annoyed and acted like I was inconveniencing her.
On our first visit, the waitress made up for the rude hostess, she was attentive and polite, the second visit we had THE ABSOLUTE WORST WAITRESS I HAVE EVER HAD DURING A DINING EXPERIENCE. I would like to acknowledge that being a waitress is a difficult job and I understand if service is slow because the restaurant is busy, mistakes in the kitchen etc; however, this was not the case. You could tell she hated her job, she failed to bring anything you requested from her, and would storm off before you could even finish your request. I know it wasn’t just our table, I overheard two tables next to us complaining about her service as well. I tried to look on her uniform for her name but it was not visible. I am not one to complain to managers and be a “Karen” but the service was so atrociously bad that I thought this nightmare experience might warrant a formal complaint. I guess the managers set the tone in this place because the man I assumed was the manager went to a few tables to inquire how the food/service was and ignored a large section of the restaurant.
Overall, the food is okay (not great, not terrible) but the service is so bad that I will not be returning to this restaurant and will warn others...
Read moreEating out for us is a special treat. Maybe 3 times a year. When we get the opportunity, our favorite place has always been Gabriella’s in prairie grove. I, personally, have always always ordered a beef chimichanga. Best anywhere. This time, they bring my plate and rice looks like an upside down bowl, and no guacamole. No big deal. I ask for guacamole, a manager brings the menu and show me it doesn’t come with it since 5 months ago. Fine. I’ll purchase that. Not a big deal. I take my first bite and realize that I got a burrito. I called the waitress back over and said I got the wrong order. Manager comes out and shows menu and says I ordered beef. Yes! But it has always been steak meat, never hamburger. Says I didn’t ask for steak. Owner meets me at the register and argues that I asked for beef not steak. Said some people like ground beef. There is only one beef to choose from . Beef or chicken. (Now they have shrimp as well). Owner even said I got a giant burrito. So I pay 16.95 for a burrito I took 3 bites from. I never Karen out at a restaurant, but owner should have definitely comped my portion of the bill. Not to mention it was lunchtime and paid for dinner menu. 20 years of eating there. Never again. take care of the customer or lose said customer....
