Fred's on the River — Restaurant in Prairieville

Fred's has a unique atmosphere. The view to the water is amazing and the way you can see the bridge at night with cars going over it is also a sight to see. I was by myself when I went, but the next time I go I plan on introducing friends to this venue. The only thing I personally wish was different was the availability to pool tables. There's only 2 and they are small, but it would be nice if there was a dedicated room for pool with the same atmosphere that way some competition can take place on a more broad scale. I feel like the competition with pool will bring a more action-based environment, especially if you have the ability to access the action in and out. Maybe some cornhole on the other side, also. We used to order from Fred’s a few times a month. Started off really good! But now it’s hit or miss. I think it depends on who’s actually working. Sometimes they’re super polite and the food is good. Sometimes they act like you’re bothering them when you call and place an order. Sometimes the order is correct and the food is great! But sometimes it’s not even close to correct and the food is overcooked and thrown together.
