Today, I walked into the ice cream store expecting a simple treat, but I left with so much more—thanks to Sierra.
From the moment I stepped up to the counter, Sierra greeted me with a warmth and genuine kindness that’s incredibly rare to find these days. Her smile wasn’t just customer service—it felt like sunshine. She listened attentively, offered thoughtful recommendations, and talked about the flavors like they were poetry. It was clear she genuinely cared about my experience.
I decided on the vanilla, which Sierra described with such sincerity and excitement that I couldn’t resist. And she was right. That scoop of vanilla wasn’t just good—it was transcendent. Creamy, perfectly balanced, and full of soul. I know it’s “just ice cream,” but in that moment, it felt like a reminder that simple things can still be beautiful and powerful.
Sierra turned an ordinary stop for dessert into something extraordinary. She made me feel seen, welcome, and somehow lighter—like I had just been reminded of the goodness in the world. That might sound dramatic, but when someone serves up joy with a scoop of vanilla, it is life-changing.
Thank you, Sierra. You turned my day around with your heart, your passion, and your perfect scoop. I...
Read moreWent the after dinner at home. Was excited about it. Heard great things about their ice cream. The ice cream did live up to its reputation.
We ordered a 4 scoop sampler. Pistachio, Twixter, cookie dough, salty caramel.
They have cones, dipped cones, waffles bowls, dipped too.
Here is my gripe about the store. The menu placement is above the counter but the display is so small you can’t read what they are with the fancy name.
Their menu looks simple but it was confusing cause I am not sure how to order and what were the prices. Unless you have been there many times, it was a little confusing. Wish the menu was easier to understand.
The store is mostly to go or stand and eat. Would be nice to have since benches to sit. I get they are a to go kind of place but didn’t want to eat in the car or outside when it’s hot and melted ice cream on kids.
Will I go back? Sure so I can try other flavor but might have to plan and take more time asking on how to order. You would think it would be simple but just looking at the menu is a little confusing. Maybe someone can...
Read moreIce cream tastes delicious as I would expect from Handel's. My favorite ice cream in the Dallas area by far.
With that said the atmosphere, efficiency and customer service of this store could improve. This location is my least favorite to visit. I live in Celina so this is disappointing. There are no table/chairs or benches to sit on to enjoy your Ice Cream. The digital menu is hard to read. I prefer the old school menu at the other locations. The entire process of waiting in line, sampling/ordering and getting your order is the slowest experience. The associates in Prosper are nice enough but so slowwwww. However, the McKinney, Frisco and Plano locations have staff more enthusiastic and engaged. The customer service didn't live up to the Handel's I know. Plus I like that the other stores have canned sodas for me to drink with my ice cream. I hope this Handel's location continues to improve because having one nearby is nice but at this point I rather drive down to one of the...
