Casa Tequila Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Providence

I placed an order on doordash of two orders of the birria tacos. The picture on the website shows 3 tacos and consome, so I’m assuming i’m going to get 6 tacos and two orders of consome. I waited over an hour for my food, just for it to arrive with just two tacos. I called the restaurant just for the manager to tell me that i ordered the single tacos and not the combo, but what the picture shows on the website is the combo which is their mistake, not mine. there also is no option for a combo on the website. He offered no real solution, luckily I got a refund through doordash. The two tacos I received were tasty, however I don’t think I will be returning due to their lack of a clear menu and the unprofessionalism of the staff.

UPDATE* so since my original review, they have since updated their doordash page to reflect the proper menu. I appreciated that they actually took what I said into consideration and decided to give them another shot. I’ve ordered two more times with not issues and as I mentioned before the food...

The food was amazing with big portions! I ordered the carne asada plate and birria combo for pick up. The consome for the birria was very well packaged so it wouldn't spill in my bag. To me, that was extremely thoughtful-- giving the fact that some restaurants wouldn't care and would just throw it in a bag.
