I experienced bad customer service today, the lady was rude & kept making it difficult for me because she kept talking very low with attitude and kept ignoring my request by acting like she couldn’t hear me so when I raised my voice she took offense and started to mistreat the person I was with and skipped over us immediately after I told her I would not be taking my food even thought my stepdad was planning on taking his order, she still gave us an attitude and ignored us by continuing in assisting the next person as if we weren’t waiting to pay for the food my stepdad wanted to take. We ended up leaving without anything because of her disgusting energy and for her being impatient and not having any customer service. My stepdad is autistic and was left confused and frustrated on why he also got treated a certain way because of an issue that had nothing to do with him. When you have never tasted really great Spanish food (or in their case Dominican food) you will say this is one of the best places to eat in Providence. Unfortunately it is not. Hunger, cheap & on the run comes to mind whenever I think of those who enjoy their food. It's in the same class as Carolina's, La Gran Parada, El Pez Dorado & many, many others in Providence RI. They are all cheap & terrible. It is just the same old greasy grub with a different name. Either the food is over-cooked, old mixed with fresh, overspiced or just plain old BLAH this is not one of the best. The bigger they become the worst they tend to be. This is a true example of someone making something good at home who is praised so much that they believe they should open a restaurant to make money & somehow satisfy the demands for this type of cooking & eventually lose the touch that made it good...

Johnny and Margarita were so kind and welcoming. It was so cute-We asked what was recommended or what’s good? Margarita replied “todos y el mejor tocinos!” We ordered 4 dinner plates (rice and a side) weighting about 10 pounds a plate😝- they really load up your plate to ensure you’re not only full but happy, so come hungry.
