Nice little diner on Allen’s ave. In Providence, RI. We stopped here for breakfast, it was my first time visiting OV’s... but I’ve been back a bunch of times since. The first impressions were good.. a nice little breakfast diner vibe. The service is prompt, and friendly. Everything looks great on the menu!! ..but I seem to always get the Rhode Islander omelette; which is filled with bacon, sausage, and ham. The server(s) are on top of the coffee.. seemingly constantly refilling it throughout the meal. I love OV’s! Go check it out!

I love a diner and coming to this local one whenever I'm in the Cranston area. There is little to no wait, service has always been great, decent prices for every menu item, and the food has always been delicious. I usually just order their breakfast selections but went for the bacon, lettuce, tomato sandwich and was satisfied.

Pay attention to the written sign posted there's a 15% gratuity automatically added to any party of 3 or more. I personally think that's excessive for a small diner. My friend and I ordered the catfish special with grits for around $10. We were very disappointed when it came and it was literally frozen fish that comes in a bag. The grits were mediocre. We chose not to complain. When we get our bill we noticed small charges that didn't make any sense. Come to find out butter and cheese is extra on grits. It was .50 for each item. My bother ordered some kind of omelette. He asked for the mushrooms and cheese to be removed and green peppers and spinach to be added. That turned out to be a extra charge. My problem is not so much the charges but the fact that none of it was mentioned when were placing our order. When I questioned about the charges I was told well it isn't on the menu that way. So I guess we were supposed to eat the grits plain smh. Also, once you change the omelette it's no longer the same omelette off the menu and you are then charged accordingly. If you're already getting a 15% gratuity there's absolutely no reason to pad the bill. I will never eat there again. I will tell all my friends in that area to never go there. The woman who took care of us was rude and dishonest. There's plenty of honest businesses that myself, family, and friends can spend our money with. DO...

I went to this place on my visit to providence thinking it was a clean nice place, everything was well until the food was served.hair were found on two different plates of food one on mine and the other on my little nephew.when The waitress waa made aware they called the owner whom supposedly is the cook amd she came from the kitchen in a very ride manner and said that she has a hairnet and the hair wasnt hers (mind u The hairnet fitted small and she had bangs which were outside her little hair net.) And her hair was black same color as the two hairs found on each individual plates of food. That was not all, to top it off The waitress dropped the whole cup of cold water with ice ontop of me and my 2 year old baby and didnt even bring any towels to dry it up. Just gave me 3 napkins which didnt dry up The table or the seat where me and my child were sitting. I would not recommend this place.these people have no work ethic and the owner didnt even apolozie for the bad service instead she implied The black hair ws mine and i dont even have black hair, and i didnt cook the food.horrible customer service and no...
