Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Pueblo

This is one of the oldest, if not thee oldest DQ's left in Pueblo. From it's vintage life-sized vanilla cones standing tall in front to it's "oh so good" vanilla ice-cream you can't get anywhere else. This DQ, because of it's small size, does not have a food menu with the exception of pretzels. However... They did have a menu item come out recently. A BBQ'd pulled pork on a pretzel bun. WoW! Sorry Colonel Sanders but I'm going to have to steal this; "It's finger-lickin' good"

At least that one was. I go back a week later. So looking forward to it again. WoW! Exact opposite of what I had the 1st time. The meat was dry & tasted old. The BBQ sauce was cold & scarcely used. The bun tasted stale & all in all, the sandwich was not enjoyed.

Service was top notch tho. If I had to guess, I would say I was given an old sandwich that they had that someone else changed their mind about.

At the point I'm very disappointed in this location they've been doing well up until their new team that they have seems like they just can't do their jobs right unfortunately and then they give you excuse after excuse of how they can't help you and they don't even have any documentation that they said that they documented about your situation that occurred to try to get a resolution and you just continue to get to run about on top of they won't accommodate to you in any way it's either whenever it's convenient for them or just they're going to keep on giving you the run-around until they will not help you get anything replaced or resolved for you service is nothing like it used to be I say this location should probably try to seek out some of the old employees that they used to have and try to get them back on staff extremely disappointed in this location service and their food and...

the small DairyQueen that only does ice cream treats and drinks is a hidden gem and im fortunate enough to live in the neighborhood where its located in ive been going there regularly there for past 6 months and i get the strawberry cheesecake blizzard they also do orange jullius"s but in other flavors the pina colada flavor is very good as is the mango pineapple thats my new fav flavor when i get one but the blizzard strawberry cheesecake is my go to dessert!! That place would b packed if everyone knew about it or if it were in a better spot traffic wise but where it is seems to b the right formula for the excellent customer service and the best ice cream treats the prices may not b in everyone's budget but it will b worth it for at least one time and after that ul b coming back regularly!
