Chinese Buffet — Restaurant in Punxsutawney

If you don't have much time to sit down to eat and you don't want fast food, maybe you go here. I've been here 4 maybe 5 times.

Each time has gotten worse. Going for dinner around 5pm should be fresh food and replacement of foods that are empty.

Not at the Oriental Restaurant. You get the cheapest items replaced and things like shrimp or items not covered with fillers are put out instead. Stuff like sweet n sour chicken and General Tso. Nothing complex and although they will replace things you ask for specifically, should you be required to ask for what should be out there already.

I seen the one gentleman look right at the empty pan and just way away. From what I see they do NOT follow hold times either. I feel for this business as it should be doing well but if you short customers on the buffet they will eventually stop coming.

I would much rather see the buffet go to a less expanded menu and more of a sit down style than to result in it losing customers. But I'm just a reviewer with vast Restaurant experience...

This. Place is a joke and I will not return. There again me my kids. And. Family. Went. There. Today and they charged me. 50 bucks. For 5 people. At 8.50 for. 3people and. 5.50 for. Two. People and. 1.99 for a drink at 5 people and. 50 dollars later I walked out of. This. So called place. I called. The lady and she won’t do nothing for us at all. I did the math myself. I don’t add up even adding the. Tax into it it still don’t add up. But. The lady will not. Help. Me. She. Says she. Needs to make. Money. To. I will not return the food. Wasn’t even hot this. Place. Is. A joke. And. Not. Worth the money. I’ll never...

We all know things have been slow at the Chinese buffet but great news, the full buffet is back now. Real plates again, nice packaging for the to go buffet. Hope people go back and give it another shot.

Everything was absolutely perfect when I stopped today. It was that amazing taste I remember fondly over the years. The staff is always so friendly.

To management: Best of luck to you all with opening the full buffet again. Hope to see you able to build back to your full potential, cause when your customer count is up and the food is at its freshest, it’s some of the...
