I ordered a Simple Breakfast. . Scrabbled eggs, The eggs was not scrambled. It was Literally a Fried Egg cut up into small pieces Dried up & Cold , . Hash browns Undercooked & Cold . Bacon ok, Bread cold & the pancake was Dryed out, Overcooked & of course Cold! I Love The Coffee.though . I Have been coming here for Years & Never Had this Happen. I Was dining Alone & she Never asked me if it was ok , If I needed Coffee, Nothing. She walked by my Table though, I asked her to bring me Coffee & she barely Stopped for me to talk! She was bringing out these big meals for others , that got there after me! I know I waited at least 35 minutes for it too! . And it was Terrible, ,, It Obviously Sat back there & someone else should have brought it out to HELP HER,, She was very busy & looked Alone! As I am checking out I see Atleast 4 others standing around by Kitchen,, It’s Like what Happened to Customer Service, I Normally Speak my mind , But was needing to get back to work & was just...

Food: bland and completely tasteless. I was surprised after reading reviews that drew us this way. It was the worst french toast I have ever had. Zero flavor. I am sure there was no cinnamon or vanilla at all. So it tasted like over cooked egg! There was nothing that we ordered that we thought... Oh that is good. Service: the waitress was just nice enough to do her job. She was in a hurry and seemed to just want us to hurry as well. She asked how the food was...I was honest...she smiled and said "Well" and that was it. Atmosphere: it is an older restaurant...but it does have the feel of a nursing home dining hall.

Just a note...this place has a bakery attached and it made me think for sure the baked goods would be top notch. The biscuits was frozen. And as mentioned it all had no flavor and that surprised me with the bakery being there you would think the breads would be great.

Oh well. Been there done that and don't plan to...

Was once our go to small town friendly diner when in Punxy. Our last couple experiences have a lot to be desired. We were charged $3.50 for a cup of coffee in small mugs refilled once. My husband went to pay and the owner who was standing at cash wrap told him she could not ring her own customers because your waitress has to ring you. He literally had 3 people rung up before him until our busy waitress could touch the dirty money and till and go back to serving customers. Also if you don't pay cash you are charged more. The baked goods on the other side are still great but, again expect a fee if you want a substantial order for a party or holiday tacked on bill. The food is diner quality so I always order like a sandwich and...

We like mom & pop diners & so we found Lily's. Waitress & wait staff were all friendly & efficient. Food was brought out swiftly. It tasted good. I had the 1/2 senior portion ham dinner turned out to be a 1/2 portion not a half senior which is good cause I am a full-size senior who needs a half portion so I won't be a full-size senior any more. The ham was tasty. Baked tater huge. I peppered it with pepper then buttered it with butter & then deluged all that with my steamed broccoli. Good stuff! Ate it all gone tater skin and all However my half-hearted attempt to be a 1/2 senior collapsed when I heard Lily's had pecan pie. It too was in good taste & soon all gone and now I am a 1 1/2 senior... Gee thanks Lily.

Great little Breakfast Diner located in Punxsutawney. Big menu and no wait, plenty of seats available. First time here, so we tried an Omelette, Eggs (over easy), bacon and Sausage Biscuits and Gravy. Food was good, pretty straight forward, eggs were a little under cooked, and I like the Omelette cheese to be mixed in versus a slice on top. The Sausage Biscuits and Gravy were good! Do yourself a favor and stop at Lillys Bakery next door. It is amazing and worth the trip alone. Awesome prices. Can't wait to come back and get more.

We have become regulars here for breakfast now. It is my opinion that it is the best in town. Sunday mornings are very busy before 10am. Saturday mornings are busy, but not as much as Sunday. We stop in for lunch during hunting season. If your in town, stop in. The bakery is next door and is also excellent. They also offer frozen dinners for take out. We have picked up some for late work days, and everything we have tried has been very good. Its like a TV dinner only much better.
