Knot Again Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Purcell

Late meal on a Saturday night last week. Greeting at the door somewhat of a take it or leave it scenario. A waiter wanted to seat us at a booth. I prefer a table. There sat 3 tables pushed together. We were told they had a group of 12 coming in. So we took the booth. The group of 12 chose to sit in the bar. We were not offered seating at a table in the bar. So the 3 tables in the dining area were never used. That's OK. service was a bit slow but they were busy. When we got our food. Silver ware was in a bucket on the table. However there was only one set. Waiter didn't notice we needed another. We got up and got another. We also had to get up and get our own catsup. My ice tea glass sat empty for a longer than usual time but did get refills. FOOD was very good. Would eat there as a regular spot to eat save one thing that gives me reason to rethink eating there again. We asked for a Togo box. At the same time handed our waiter the credit card with our meal tab. About 10 minutes passed and no sign of the waiter. I did ally got the attention of another waiter. Asked where might our waiter be with our tab and card. I was told to chill out man. He's not going to run away with your credit card. I told this other waiter I wasn't worried about that. Just would like to go. About that time our waiter showed back up with not only our tab but a cancel supposedly tab for so.eone else he claimed there credit card ma shine automatically charged to our tab. I've seen this happen before. It is a scam. NO CREDIT CARD MACHINE EVER ON IT'S OWN CHARGES YOUR ACCOUNT FOR SOMETHING YOU DIDN'T BUY. This was the waiters story. I told him this better not show up on the credit card. He said oh it won't. Mean time I called the waiter over to our table who told me to chill out. Told him I didn't appreciate how he talked to me. He said WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT..... Told him he wasn't going to get away with talking this way to me again. He said are you threatening me? I said no. He said sounds like you are. I told him I would write or call someone. At my age 66 years old. I don't threaten physical with anyone. We wrote an email to the owner. She wrote back she does not do that to her customers. I'm sure she does not. She said she does not allow that in her restaurant. I'm sure she doesn't. I believe she runs a good honest business. However it is Tuesday Morning. My friend d wrote me to say she had called the bank that issued the card and both our dinner and the other tab that was not ours were both charged to the account. I'm sorry dear restaurant owner but what waiters and bar tenders have learned to do is to scam credit cards without the restaurant owner's knowledge. Obviously since there are two separate charges on my friends card. No Point of Sale machine (credit card machine) ever randomly chooses an unsuspecting customers credit card to charge an extra dinner tab to. Ever..... This was my first time in this restaurant. Probably my last as the owner writing an answer back to my friend made this whole ordeal sound like it was our fault. She offered no satisfaction as to it being looked into save only that Tuesday, today. The credit card machine people would be there to talk about what happened and the fact that there were witnesses willing to testify on their behalf. Dang......all I wanted to do was try a new restaurant and have a good meal. Meal was very good. I had the Dragon Burger on Jalapeno bun with Fries. Really good. I suggest...

Worst experience ever. First time being here under new management. Got there at 613, waitress ANGELA was not attentive at all, ordered drinks waited 8 minutes for a drink... I had to get up and go ask for our drinks,"non alcoholic" she had them on the counter doing something else. I told her are those our drinks? I'll take them now if that's okay then she brought the drinks over to the table. Knotty shrooms came out a good 15 minutes, kinda cold like they had been sitting there. I had made a comment to my boyfriend about how I almost don't want to order anymore and ANGELA argued with me saying that they were busy she has other tables, but NEVER ONCE CHECKED IN ON US. She was checking in on all the other customers she has but not us. Then she FINALLY took our order at "6:40" after waiting THAT long just to have eaten 8 pieces of shrooms that are over priced, "10$" we were promised a 10 percent discount which was nit granted at the end. We didn't want to wait any longer, we waited until 715 to get up and leave. We were not granted our 10% discount because we were too upset to eat at that point. Waited 1 hour just to have just 1 appetizer within that full hour. Waitress ANGELA was very rude about it being busy in there. Never...
