Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Purcell

For a long time this was the best sonic that was in the state. But now, I don’t know what’s going on there but it has gone downhill real quick.

My husband ordered us 2 ultimate burritos, 1 order of fries, 1 order of cheddar bites and a Dr Pepper.

The first order they brought out was the wrong order. His Dr Pepper had strawberries in it. He’s allergic to them.

They took the wrong order back and the Dr Pepper. Then brought the right drink out without the food. They finally brought the food back out and there were tater tots instead of fries. They took that back. They brought the order back out again and they put the fries in the wrong bag. Finally they bring the order out AGAIN my husband checks to make sure it is 2 burritos and fries…. Yep 2 burritos and fries but no cheddar bites. By this time he was so frustrated he said screw the cheddar bites that were indeed paid for and just left.

I don’t know what’s happened but this was extremely disappointing. This is definitely an experience that will prevent us from visiting anymore.

I haven’t been to Purcell Sonic in a few months because last time I went I got mad. I went on Saturday and ordered a large Diet Coke and a large cherry Dr. Pepper. 15 minutes after ordering, I pushed the button to see if there was a problem. There were 6 cars besides me. They brought them out and both were diet cokes. I Trang again and told them. They came and got one of the diet cokes and took it in and put cherry in it and brought it back to me. Sonic goes up and down on my stars I give them. Mainly do to employees .. I've noticed it TOTALLY matters here from what your food is like, how fast you get it, if your orders right and more....all depends on who is on shift. My daughter works part-time here, which her hours are kinda all over the place but she kills it (in a good way) on making sure everything runs smoothly.. of course many of you ask say I'm shoeing favoritism but im really not that kind of mom, if my grown children ducked at their job I'm pretty positive I would...
