Beaumont Cellars Tasting Room and Bistro — Restaurant in Quincy

Went for a late lunch on a Tuesday. Wife and I each ordered a Ceasar salad with panko chicken, an order of fries to share, and a bottle of Sangiovese. The wine was very good, the fries were OK, but not great - they got cold quickly and then were very dry. The salad itself was not great. The parmesan cheese for the salad came as a fried 'disc' sitting atop the salad, so it either had to be picked up like a cracker or broken up into smaller pieces by hand. Why not just use grated parmesan? The worst part was the panko chicken - it was overcooked, dry, and chewy, and was an $8 add on. We had to ask for steak knives to be able to cut it into bites. I was pretty excited initially about the prospect of a winery and tasting room coming to crescent bar. Sadly I’m disappointed in how this has actually been rolled out. We’re a community of maybe 2000 people and when you roll in with a complete lack of respect for your neighbors, it gets around. Producing good wine is not a free pass to disrespect the people around you. And last night, purposely drowning out the neighboring show, that your fellow community members paid money to see?
