Matteo's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Quincy

First of all the food is very well priced. Second, the quality of the product is excellent. The following really showed his appreciation for his customers. I only had a credit card and I had already paid for my order. I thought of getting a couple cans of soda after but I had left my cash in my car. Yanni offered the soda to me and I said I’ll be right back with the cash he said don’t worry about it and sent me on my way. If I could give this less than 1 star I would. The “wings” were battered and fried garbage. Not even sauced. Served with a side of franks red hot. I could do that myself. And on top of that they weren’t even cooked properly half were cold in the middle. The pizza on the other hand was a cold saucer of landfill. The cheese was 3/4 of an inch think and there was no sauce and the crusts were burnt and tasteless. To top it all off, about an hour after eating 2 wings and a slice I got sick. Matteo's is a very, very decent pizza place. On it's own, I would rate it a 4/5. I've had an onion & pepper pizza, and a tuna sub from them and they were both delicious.

The people seem nice, delivery was quick.

What makes this a true 5-star place is that it's located inside of a very decent package store. They have craft beer and the owner/cashier was very proud of his selection. They get Lawson's Sip of Sunshine too!
