My Sister and I had the lunch combos today 11/27/24. No. 10 for her and No. 11 for me. The tea was barely hot. The picture is of my dish the No. 11. The egg foo young was not layered like it used to be it was a giant ball and the gravy was weak and sad not a nice dark, thick brown gravy like you expect with egg foo young, but a watered down, barely tan color that didn’t taste like much of anything but gel. The crab Rangoon was minus any crab in my opinion. The chicken teriyaki on the stick was very good. Chicken was tender and juicy and well cooked. The pork fried rice was also very good, but not quite hot enough. We also ordered a side of egg rolls to split again very tasty but not quite hot enough. My sister had a similar experience with her meal. She said the chicken wings were very greasy and I could tell by looking at them they were. It’s kind of a shame because the portions are very big the food bad. Our other complaint has to be the fact that the menu that you look at online on the restaurants website, just as an example lists the side of eggroll as being $4.25. When we got our bill, we noticed we were charged $7.50. We called this out on them and the waitress without hesitation said those are pre-Covid prices so obviously they get that a lot. She was ready for it. She’s heard it before. That’s just not right we could’ve made a stink about it we did not. I imagine some people will and they have every right to then the guy behind the register chimed in saying that wasn’t their menu It was posted by some online menu creator, not true. This is their website. They just don’t want to pay to update it. That’s bad business in our opinion and one of the reasons we won’t be going back the food is the other reason.

THE SERVICE: Standard telephone greeting; my order was confirmed and I was provided with the total. In person pickup was straightforward. The employee wasn’t necessarily rude, but she wasn’t friendly either. As I approached the counter she asked if it was pickup, then my name, cash or card- I paid and was handed a bag. Nonetheless, my order was ready at the designated time and packaged really well- which I appreciated. THE FOOD: I ordered the lobster sauce combination plate which came with pork fried rice, fried shrimp, and crab rangoon . I also ordered an appetizer of boneless spare ribs and egg rolls. This order was sufficient to feed 3 people. The lobster sauce was fine. The majority of the flavor, albeit mild, came from the sauce as the pork didn’t have any standout seasoning. The friend rice was cooked perfectly and flavored well. I especially enjoyed the tender meat and crisp vegetables. The shrimp was very tasty and cooked well- it had the perfect light batter. The crab rangoon and egg rolls were just okay. The boneless spareribs were the standout bite; tender, juicy and flavorful. The homemade duck sauce was very good and served as the saving grace for the dry egg rolls. THE VALUE: Excellent price for the quantity of satisfactory food. I again want to highlight how well my order was packaged; each item was in the perfect style container making for an easy transport.

Love the atmosphere of this restaurant! The decorations are beautiful & classy… the waitress was wonderful. The food is where it went downhill for my mother & I. My general tsao was cut into huge pieces, and tasted more like sweet & sour chicken. There was no sweet & spicy ginger flavor to my chicken like there should have been. It was just bright and sweet… my mother and I ordered fried rice, and although it was flavorful, it was very very greasy. I also had spareribs with my meal but they didn’t taste great, and were very chewy like they needed more or less time in the oven. My mother said her chicken wings were good, but they were really huge as well… the complimentary tea, bread & butter, and service is enough to maybe make me go back one more time. I hope that they can fix the classic general tsao dish, or perhaps I was just given the wrong item, I’m not sure.

I ended up with food poisoning after visiting this place for the first time. My sister's and I decided to visit this restaurant Saturday night although the bar and take out service looked pretty busy, dine-in was practically empty with us and four other tables occupied. When we asked for a table instead of both it took about 20 minutes for us to be seated. Not sure why seeing as this side of the restaurant was pretty vacant. We were finally seated I'm not sure if it was our waiters old age, the hustle and bustle at the end of a Saturday night or if he was just having a bad day but the service he provided was horrible. After waiting in our seats for some time talking we noticed that a least 30 minutes have gone by and no one came by to take our order. I flagged our waiter to tell him that we were ready. This may sound like nitpicking but it was a very odd interaction as he took our order. He would attempt to leave each time we listed an item in our order. To start I ordered the pu pu platter large he said okay jotted it down and turn to leave. This would happened after each item we ordered. Even drinks. It felt so awkward having to ask him to repeat everything back us to make sure he got everything. After that he brought our water, tea and bread baskets to the table. When the food arrived it actually looked good but the sauces were missing so I had to flag him again. After a few minutes we were disgusted. The meat was underdone and the sauces were spoiled. When we brought this to his attention another employee came grabbed him away forcefully to some unknown emergency. It was nearly 12am when he came back with take away plates and the bill. Not wanting to ruin our night with more negativity we paid our bill but did not tip. The next morning we were all sick. I missed out on spending Easter with my family. Two days later I'm finally able to keep things down. Safe to say we will not be returning. Although the food and service were bad before we were seated I actually really liked the atmosphere. I was considering possibly renting out the space for a work function. What can I say I'm a sucker for a live cover band but at risk of my health and my stomach I'll be taking my...

I had went on a Thursday for karaoke night .The food and the karaoke night were great but the customer service was horrible!!!! It was my birthday and I wanted to reserve a table but was told if it's in the karaoke room I can't. It was me and 15 other woman .The waitress we had was soo rude we got individual bills due to some of my friends were ordering to go .She then asked us please don't give me fake names ! Then she had a attitude and was rude we had to chase her down for everything. It was a busy night but it was more her rude attitude that was the problem. Finally when all my guest told me she was horrible and rude I then went to look for her. I told her an a very respectful way that we were very unhappy. At this point most of my guests had left .I then ask her after she gave me the worst act of im sorry it's busy .I ask her to cover my bill that I had more than enough to cover. The bill was not alot at all. She said no my friend then started to talk to her because at this point I felt like they really didn't care about customer service. That is the line of work I'm in soo I was beyond irritated. So at this point I'm like let me go talk to the manager. The manager was the worst !!!!!! He was disrespectful told me why should they cover the bill it's busy .He was trying to strong arm me .He kept talking in circles!!!! Try to treat me like I'm cheap and just wanted to get out of paying for no reason. One of my friends end up paying for it I was thankful but the point was not that I didn't have the money because honestly I was going to order to go as well. The point was the over all customer service was horrible!!!! They felt like I just had to deal with it . It was my birthday 🎂 I was so embarrassed because all my close friends came out and got treated horrible then the manger is just rude...
