Golden Chicken — Restaurant in Racine

I placed an order for pickup. Young girl took order was very rude. No explanation what sides came with dinners, etc. Said order ready in 15. Another party was picking up the 2 dinners. When he arrived he said they were very rude. He said Pick order for Mike. Girl said Mike what very rudely again. He said Just Mike. Girl said $30.00. Mike said its already been paid for and a tip was added. Girl very rudely says I don't see you paid. Mike said I will call him. Girl went and get food never an apology for her rudeness or sorry trying to double charge you. Never again would I go back. Under new management wanting people to use your restaurant but show people rudeness and nasty attitude. Lost my business and was a customer over 30 yrs. Need to teach your staff manners and appreciation...

Ordered a family bucket and 4pcs of lake perch. Almost 50.00. Told me 20 minutes. Got there no customers and still had to wait another half hour ok no problem. Get home and take the bucket of chicken out of the bag and the bottom opens up, chicken all over the floor. So I call them and they say there's nothing they can do, what? So she's asks someone else and she tells me that they can't give the whole order again, but can do half. What? So, the another manager gets on the phone and tells me there is nothing she can do. Oh and the lake perch were not lake perch at all. I am sad because it used to be a great place to get broasted chicken. In all the years we went there, there was great service and great food. So, sad. So we ordered pizza from Bernie's. Chicken went in...

The food is so good. I have gotten delivery several times from them but the last time I called to place an order, now I'm all of a sudden not in their delivery range. I asked, "why have you delivered here before and now you won't" and she somewhat snidely remarked that she "doesn't have an explanation but that we don't deliver past 3 mile." (I'm one block past.) If restaurants are so desperate for customers now because of the Covid economy then it certainly isn't good business to turn customers away. It's not like I wanted them to go to Oak Creek or Kenosha. It's one block past 3 mile and they've done it before! It's still very much in Racine. This once loyal customer who sadly can no longer be serviced by Golden Chicken, can no longer...
