Martha's Pancake House Cafe — Restaurant in Racine

today i placed a order for pick up a $10 chicken wrap and fries i asked for extra chicken i expect to be charged like $2 for it and when i picked up the food i got charged $21 for the meal. they charged me an extra $5 for chicken i was a bit upset but i paid anyway. it seemed weird so i double checked the menu for prices and when i added everything up it should’ve not been over 16 for everything. but im not sure if it was the owner or the manager but she told me the wrap was $10, the fries was $1.50, and the chicken was $5. i said okay and that i understood but that adds up to $16.50. i was still trying to ask why i was being charged an extra $5 she’s was trying to justify the math which was not correct. she got mad when i said i was getting over charged so she slapped a five dollar bill on the counter and kept saying “well u got the $5s right?” she was rude about it and did not care that they over charged me nor did she apologize. don’t get me wrong the food was good but the experience was not!!! very rude not...

Food was wonderful. Service was a little lacking. Went on a Sunday and it was fairly busy. It was just two of us and we got seated straight away. The seating is very close together and we were in a small booth, we were bumped into several times by both staff and other customers. We both ordered breakfast which was great, corned beef skillet and Martha’s special. We had to ask 2 different employees a total of 3 times for silverware. We were just staring at our food, waiting for utensils. I briefly considered scooping up my eggs with my hands. Maybe it was just because it was busy? I’d definitely give it another try. Prices were great and food was pretty good. Edit: Went again, this time for Friday fish fry. Portion was a huge and delicious. Good price. Place was not nearly as crowded as it was during breakfast....

First time eating at Martha’s, and called ahead to see if they could handle a party of 10 for breakfast, they confirmed that they could, and I made the reservation. When we arrived just ahead of schedule, and the place was completely packed! But what did I expect for Sunday a 11am! We waited about 10minutes for tables to clear and for them to clean/setup. No worries! Once we were sat, our server did a fantastic job of getting us all set with drinks and taking our orders. Food arrived shortly afterwards and everyone enjoyed their breakfasts, food was well made and tasty, only sent back some scrambled eggs because they weren’t done enough.
