El Charro Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Radford City

I feel like I try this place every once in awhile to see if the food has improved any and when it hasn't I always tell myself not to go back even though it's so convenient to my location. Today I decided to give it a go since it was later than usual for me to eat dinner and it's close and I feel like I frequent the Italian place next door too much and needed to give them a chance. Tonight I got what is referred to as a 'Grande' cheese quesadilla, what I got was maybe a 6-8" tortilla folded in half and then cut in half with filling that only filled out the bottom of the quesadilla, and I'm not saying the bottom half it maybe filled where it was folded at the bottom and that was it the rest of it was just eating a tortilla with nothing in it. The other dish we got were a couple chicken burritos and by the time I got them home (less than a 1 mile drive) they were soggy and barely edible, it's like the sauce they used was 90% water or something. I guess we can say we ate the chips and salsa that were free...those were okay. So I guess we'll try again next time in 6 months or so when I feel I need to give...

I ordered a burrito off the menu that read the price as being $13.50. When I got my bill it was $15.00. I asked nicely for the price to be corrected. They told me their prices had gone up. I told them I should pay the price that I saw on the menu. The manager lady came up and told me they had a sign up and posted on their website that their prices had gone up. That they didn’t have time to change each of their menus. I told her I should pay the price that was listed when I ordered. The manager then began to raise her voice and told me that “everyone in town knows that our prices have changed “ and “I’ve seen you in here many times before”. I said, yes you have seen me in here many times. She said that if I couldn’t afford $1.50 that I shouldn’t come back and that I was being rude. She said she couldn’t change the price, and I said yes you actually can. She said “I won’t!” And stormed off. I had my granddaughter pick me up taco salad. First time I have ever eaten anything from there. I am disabled that's why my granddaughter was picking it up. All I got was beef and lettuce and tomato on top. To me that wasn't a taco salad. Looked at me online. It was missing many items. Tried call at 6:46 no answer again at 6:50 no answered. So figured it was dinner time and they were busy. Tried again at 8:26 talk to manager. He said I could get replacement the next day. Granddaughter took it back. The one replacing it told my granddaughter that she recognized the name and I had done this many times before. My granddaughter said this is my name and neither one of us had eaten here before.
