My boyfriend and I have been to Garrett Ale House a few times for Sunday brunch and we decided to check it out for dinner. Unfortunately I don’t think we will return for dinner. We’ve had good experiences with our Sunday brunch visits but last night for dinner was just disappointing. I got a few drinks and while both of those were good, the food was disappointing. It took us over an hour after ordering to get our meals. I got the caprese panini which I was so looking forward to trying, but the bread was soggy and cold and my fries were cold. My boyfriend ordered the marry-me chicken and while he said it tasted good we just wished the portion size could’ve been slightly bigger. We were given the check and had to wait for 25 minutes before someone came over for us to pay our bill. We’ve never had a problem during brunch and will likely return for brunch, but I can’t say the same about dinner here. Our server was super friendly and it was not her fault at all that they seem to be...

The Texas toast, it was plain Italian white bread instead not texas toast, and it was not even grilled or toasted for that matter. I tried to reach out to the manager three times by phone, but every time I was told she doesn't work on weekends or Monday. The bartender was friendly, but did not catch any of these mistakes before we pointed it out. Plus gave us a bloody mary in a cracked glass which she had to make again. I couldn't eat my dish because it was uncooked and we waited so long for it in the first place, so she took that off the bill which was fine. However, we waited longer than it should have taken for food neither of could eat. I might go back for...
Read moreThe waiter was super chill and the brunch menu at dinner time helped me reminisce of my yummy egg sandwhich I had earlier this morning. The bathroom experience was to die for as the shower curtain substituting for a standard bathroom stall kept me on my toes as I never knew when a fellow customer may mistakenly walk in on me dropping logs. The bathroom experience kept me guessing as there were no toilet paper either. Truly a thrilling experience overall and I’d highly recommend. Flip and Baileys could never live up to this level of...
