I've been to Exit 13 a few times now, and they never disappoint. Every time I go, I take someone new with me who ends up loving it as well. It's a casual dress type of place, with excellent food and great service. Alessandro usually serves me when I go, and he is always attentive. Some of my favorite dishes are: the G Hill special, the artichokes, the mortadella and Pistachio pizza, the arancini, and the spaghetti alla carbonara. This place is definitely one you should check out if you haven't already. UPDATE: 1/15/24 We just love it here so much of course we had to book our daughter's first birthday here. Lucio and Dea were a blessing to work with on this throughout the ENTIRE process. The food was once again, AMAZING! Our guests couldn't stop talking about it during and after the party. The whole waitstaff was pleasant and so so very helpful from beginning to end! BOOK YOUR NEXT EVENT HERE, YOU WONT REGRET IT. PERFECT SPACE FOR IT! Thanks guys!

As a cheesesteak enthusiast, I was anxious to try the "Jawn" advertised as a pound of prime ribeye on a freshly kneaded roll with caramelized onions and Cooper Sharp. The roll was fresh and warm, and yeasty, but more like pizza crust than the high end Italian rolls one finds at the best cheesesteak joints. Onions were perfect. Cheese was kind of skimpy. The beef was high quality and free of gristle..but a POUND? Maybe 8oz. MAX before cooking. I've eaten several pound steaks, and this ain't one. Fries were very high quality frozen, served piping hot in a cute mini fry-basket. Wife's wings were crispy and didn't get soggy in the plentiful hot sauce. Drinks are very reasonable and staff attentive and friendly. I guess the "Jawn" is a kind of novelty, and the price may reflect the beef grade as opposed to weight. Adorable atmosphere. I'll return, but try the Italian dishes where I suspect they excel.

The delicious food, vibrant atmosphere and amazing staff makes this place a community staple. The cocktails were so creative and tasty and there was a great range of local drafts. If you're not sure, ask the staff for recommendations, they know what they're doing. As for food, I'm a sucker for arancini and theirs was pretty top notch with the choice of red sauce or white. Please get the firecracker shrimp, either in the starters or on the taco like I did because wow! So delicious that I didn't even need the sauces. The gnocchi was a hearty serving and so fluffy. You really get a good serving with everything. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this to others.

We went in for an early dinner and our server forgot a lot and took forever to get to us. There was like no one else in there and our food took ages. My oysters were brought after my entree...dishes not cleared away. The chicken Caesar was strangely sweet? Like a blend of honey mustard or something.. it was weird. The chicken was so dried out it was about a minute away from turning into jerky. The margarita pizza was oily, at first I thought it was olive oil maybe as a garnish but why on top of cheese? They used shredded mozzarella instead of fresh buffalo so basically it’s a cheese pizza with basil. We ordered a couple of bottles of flat water for the table, and a couple of cannoli to go, totally overpriced. We laughed to think we’d spent nearly $30 on 4 cannoli and $16 on 2 bottles of water. Didn’t check the price so that’s on us. Overall disappointing experience and the food quality was subpar for a gastro pub. That being said, I brought the tagliatelle home for my husband and a cannolo ( that’s the correct Italian spelling for one single btw, since they are so adamant about using italian spelling for broccoli “rape” ??.. which is freaking weird, my husband, from the Veneto/Lombardy region of Italy, said he spells it broccoleti di rapa.. so that’s an interesting spelling choice on the owners part) he enjoyed both but the pasta was a bit bland. The cannoli were great, so I added a second star for the decent pasta and...

One and done. The food was subpar and overpriced for such. We ordered a bunch of appetizers. The octopus was beyond dried out and over salty. This is the first restaurant I have been to that doesn't know how to cook octopus. The calamari was lightly breaded which was good, but no seasoning on it and the maranara tasted like it was out of a can. The egglplant was hard and again very bland, no taste to it. The prosciutto on the eggplant was dried out in some portions of it and the mozzarella did not taste fresh. The artichokes were too charred. Very disappointing. The only good appetizer was the stuffed long hots. Our waiter seemed irritated and snappy before we were even seated and continued the same way through the dining experience. Nothing irritates me more than a restaurant being overpriced for subpar food.

This is my response back to the owner's reply to me, since it will not post to this thread, and only show up in my gmail response to the owner.

Not true. I do not have more than one child and she was not screaming, as she is a teenager and well behaved. I was not irritated from the time I walked in, as we were really excited to try your restaurant since we saw it on a TV review and like trying new places. When asked how the food was I said, "Egh/so so." You must have me mixed up with some...

This is our family's favorite restaurant, and there's not really a close 2nd. Great for date night. Great for our kids too. And their party setup is awesome!

We hosted my sons baptism luncheon in the late spring at exit13. We received a ton of compliments on the food, the service, and the overall experience/look of the restaurant. Such a fun day!

We also just did our first catering experience with exit13 two weeks ago for my son's first birthday. Incredible again. A ton of food. All great - pizza, apps, salads, and chicken parm trays. They helped us setup all the food as well. We couldn't ask for more from everyone at exit13. From the ordering process and taking thru how much food to order, all the way to the delivery and setup to ensure all the food was out when our guests arrived for the bday celebration. Figuring out the right amount of food for kids and adult isn't easy, but exit13 made it easy! We had at least half a dozen folks ask about the catering.

We basically look for any excuse to go to Exit13 and will...
