Have always had great food and service until tonight and we visit very frequently. First my husband's order was wrong. Told our waitress she took it back to fix it. Mine also was wrong she corrected it also.when she brought my husband's plate back it was basically a plate of slop! Seriously everything was laying in a pile of juice that I'm assuming was from not draining the beef. We asked her if she could just change his order to something else bc no way could he eat that. She took it back asked what he would like and we told her just change it to chicken nachos to go. Get the bill they charged for the plate that they kept messing up plus the replacement order. Thinking they may have not meant to we showed them. They said they have to charge for both. I asked why since the waitress knew he never touched it, she couldn't give us an answer just said that we had to pay for both bc it was what was ordered. After paying the ticket we decided this would be our last visit. Had it been our mistake of ordering something we didnt like and then changing it then yes I could see us paying for it but we order the same exact thing everytime we eat here and it has never been as horrible or inedible as it was tonight. So for them to still charge for it to me was...
Read moreHands down the best Mexican restaurant around!! I've been to many of the Mexican restaurants in the area and Toros is definitely my number one pick. The family and I went for dinner and sat out on the patio. They had great selections for everyone. Domingo was our waiter and if you're ever there on the weekend ask for him! He was very attentive and personable and was a pleasure to have as our server. We ordered the Toros sampler as an appetizer, and it was a great way to start off the meal, along with a few drinks. They are one of the few in the area that offer an Italian margarita! For entrees we ordered the Flautas, chicken chimichangas, the steak and shrimp platter, carnitas, and poblanos with a side of Mexican sausage (which the sausage wasn't on the menu as a side order but we were able to get it anyways with no problem). All the food was excellent and cooked/seasoned perfectly! Dessert was Flan, churros with ice cream, and xango with ice cream, and just a bowl of ice cream...again desserts were great and you can get different ice cream besides just vanilla. We had moose tracks and mint chocolate chip. Definitely will be going again soon....
Read moreOn a recent trip to Rainsville, we visited this restaurant and it was such an amazing experience. It was on a Tuesday afternoon, around 3pm local time, and the place wasn't even close to busy. I think there were only one or two other customers, so the service was very quick. The server was also extremely friendly, standing to make conversation with us before our food came. Speaking of food, the flavor was absolutely on point, sizzling hot and delicious. I've had a lot of Mexican food and this beat it all hands down. The only con was possibly the condition of the building, which was not bad by no means, but not perfect. Also the music was a mixed playlist, not a consistent genre or theme of any kind. I enjoyed it but some people may prefer something consistently Spanish themed at a Mexican restaurant. In any case, Rainsville is almost 2 hours away from home, but I definitely will be visiting again just...
