AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They have lost me as a customer after being one since opening day several years ago. Their website is SEVERELY outdated with prices and specials. When placing an order, the staff hemmed and hawed, refusing to accommodate me, even when I agreed to pay the new price. Just a total lack of respect towards their long-standing customers. I will now drive an extra 3 miles past this place to get my cheap pizza and cheesebread at another restaurant on Leesville Road. When I informed the staff that I would be doing this, their response was an ungrateful "okay", and that was it. I envy the nail salon owner who gets to kick FiveBros out when their business collapses. Good riddance to another poorly-run business in a nice area of Raleigh. You are not welcome here anymore.
UPDATE TO RESPONSE BELOW: No Sir, YOU are the liar. I have ordered the exact SAME combo Special since before the Pandemic (Turkey sub and a Chicken Parmesan Pasta). Regardless if the price was listed at $11.99 or $15.99, FiveBros nicely accommodated my request EVERY SINGLE TIME. Until tonight. This evening I was informed that my request would NOT be accommodated because you did not want to set a precedent ("If I do it for you, then I have to do it for everybody", you told me on the phone.) What has changed? Perhaps you're unaware that four (out of the five) bros have been doing it for YEARS and -- all at once -- you decide that is no longer acceptable? What garbage. You must be the youngest of the five bros because your customer service is the weakest.
And now, after this exchange, you have permanently lost me as a loyal customer. I have no faith whatsoever that you won't spit in my food or put something foul in it to make me ill and gain revenge for this negative review, so I won't ever return. Worse, you have damaged...
Read moreWe ordered take out and usually have a very positive experience. We love Five Bros and always find their quality of pizza great. Unfortunately this last time we went my husband ordered a pepperoni pizza and there were shards of something super sharp in the pizza. He was halfway through the pizza when he got a mouthful of something sharp. After closer examination it looked like glass. My husband said it was super hard and that he couldn’t even bite through it. He said there were more pieces but he swallowed them. It did also cut his gums a little as well. We put the couple of pieces he spit out in a bag and took the pizza back. The guy didn’t really say sorry, he just said that “he didn’t understand how that happened” we did end up getting a refund and gave the pizza back due to the fact my husband was scared to eat anymore. I on the other hand ordered the pasta, pasta and meat sauce. It was very clear that it had been cooked previously (maybe a day or so ago maybe more) and just was warmed up before giving it to us. The pasta was soggy and overcooked and all the sauce was gone, it was extremely dry and there was no fresh looking sauce. It looked like it had been warmed so much all the sauce evaporated. Pasta was mediocre, I could make better pasta at home. Usually we have very positive experiences here and come here when we want a good quality pizza but unfortunately due to this experience I think we won’t be coming back. We’re both a little scared that we will get shards of glass in our pizza again. Read moreI rarely bash service since I believe in giving an open view on things. However, this was also my first time ordering food from this location. It is about 5 minutes from my place and wanted to try it. I ordered online 2 ravioli I pasta dishes and an order of boneless wings. The order was placed at 6:10 pm. I received an email verification immediately. The time of arrival was 7:15pm. At 7:35 it still had not arrived. I attempted multiple times from 7:35-750 pm to reach someone and then call went straight to voicemail. I left one message with no return call. I contacted the company “slice” that it was ordered through. The customer service there was okay. They had no way to contact the delivery service and weren’t able to contact the retailer either. I tried to cancel the order but the customer service rep asked for me to give them 10 more minutes. Needless to say my food arrived at 8:10 ( 2 hours after original order). The driver basically threw the food in my arms and said “ I’m sorry , we had a situation “ and briskly walked away. The food was barely warm and I ended up not eating it . I will never allow them an opportunity to repair the customer service connection. Would recommend NOT ordering...
