Beach Shack Bottles & Taps — Restaurant in Raleigh

I had a great time at Beach Shack Bottles & Taps. Neil was a great bartender and knew the details of the production of each of the beers I tried with my childhood friend Will. The personality of the staff and vibes at this bar are the best. This place shouldn't be as quiet as it is because they're great. They have a huge amount of different beers on tap and great deals. It was $1 off all taps tonight and I got to try several beers I've never had before.

So I showed up to this bar in Raleigh with my best friend and we tried new beers and exchanged stories with the bar tender. Telling childhood classics of our nearly 20 years of friendship and anecdotes about how all old white guys over sixty look like Joe Biden enough to make you do a double check. The wife and I walk from home to the Beach Shack to have a cold brew and a new experience. This was late mid day Friday. There was one man nursing a Beer and a nice woman behind the bar. She filled us in on what’s on tap,cans etc.. a quiet place that time of day. The shifts had changed. The lady said have a nice day. The guy who took over just looked annoyed. Made no eye contact said nothing to us. Fiddled around with the sanitizer bucket checked his phone a few times…. Walked right next to us still saying not a word. Finally decided to leave. Then he said “wanna nother?” I said no. He really should have a small bit of enthusiasm if he’s gonna work in the service industry. I’ll go back. I’d like to try some of the canned Beers....

This place is awesome!!!! What a great addition to the neighborhood. Lots of beers on tap. A nice open space, lots of seating. We came in on black Friday and were greeted with a smile. The service was spectacular. We stayed and played cards at one of the bar tables. There are tons of TV's, great for watching sports. Beer on tap and a fridge with beer. A few wine options as well!
