Flight Deck is an absolute hidden gem. Not only does it have one of the best selections of local craft beer around, rotating taps, cold cans, and Jesse who is an excellent owner and bartender, but it’s also secretly one of the coolest pinball spots in town. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, with plenty of space to hang out and try local beer. They do local comedy shows, live music, trivia and more. But the real magic is in the back: a curated lineup of pinball machines ranging from the 1980s to brand new games. Every game is in excellent working condition thanks to a local group of dedicated players who own and maintain the machines. Older machines are just 50 cents, newer ones are a dollar. If you're into craft beer, pinball, or just finding cool places off the beaten path, Flight Deck is 100% worth checking out.

So happy to have made my first visit to Flight Deck NC. Jesse, the owner of this craft beer establishment, is such a wonderful person and very attentive to his customers. Flight Deck offers a pleasant variety of draft beer selections, as well as bottled and canned beers. There’s literally something for everyone, ranging from beer, cider, seltzer, & wine. I also met some great people while enjoying the evening there! I look forward to returning and trying different offerings, because there’s plenty to explore. Support local businesses, you won’t be disappointed at Flight Deck!

Hands-down the best pinball bar in the Triangle! Incredibly well-maintained machines with an awesome selection. You can tell such a difference between these machines versus the ones maintained by the other local company. On top of that, the atmosphere is awesome and the beer selection is great. I really like the bartenders here as they immediately make you feel like you’re at home. If you’re looking for some great pinball machines with some great beers, there isn’t a better bar in the Raleigh-area.

Flight Deck's the sort of place I want to stay quiet about only because it's such a wonderful hidden gem right now, and I don't want it to get overcrowded when more people realize how good it is. It's that incredible a bar and pinball space.

The rotation of local beers always has something I enjoy, and the bartenders are always friendly and attentive. By my second visit, I felt like a regular. It's a tiny but cozy space to sit around anywhere, relax, and enjoy a good drink.

This is also the best spot in the area for pinball. The pinball rooms behind the bar are loaded, with a variety of about 20 tables from different manufacturers and eras. The local pinball community works hard to keep everything maintained and in great shape, and you'll see folks here every week checking and working on tables. They're all priced reasonably per play, and while these tables are often set up mean to challenge the top players, they're still great for a pinball newbie to learn how to flip.

Fantastic pinball and a wonderful bar. It's my favorite spot in the...

As someone who enjoys playing pinball, I am thrilled to have recently discovered this place. Its easy to miss from the outside, but inside is clean, comfortable and friendly. And best of all, ALL of the 20 or so pinball machines are well maintained and play as they were designed to play. As a 'pinball collective' the games are owned by individual who take care of them as if they owned them. (Again, they do.) There is a great mix of the newest machines as well as some old classics. And...the prices to play are reasonable! If you're looking for new favorite place in Raleigh to play pinball, check...
