We had our daughter’s wedding at The Pavilion at the Angus Barn and it was absolutely perfect. After touring multiple venues, this one had everything we were looking for: stunning outdoor spaces (pond, gazebo, butterfly garden), a gorgeous indoor option with starry lights, and so many inclusions—tables, linens, cutlery, charcuterie, and even fun lawn games during cocktail hour.

But the real magic? The people. Alli and Faith, our wedding planners, were amazing from start to finish. They made planning easy, fun, and stress-free. On the wedding day, they arrived early to help set up, brought food for the bridal party, and even made last-minute trips to make sure every detail was perfect. They met every request with a smile and a “yes.”

One moment stood out: I mentioned I felt dehydrated, and a few minutes later a bartender handed me a glass of Gatorade—he likely went to the store just for me. That’s the level of care they give.

Steve and Van lead this team with excellence, and it shows. The staff is professional, joyful, and passionate about what they do. The entire experience felt like family taking care of us.

If you’re looking for a wedding venue that delivers beauty, service, and unforgettable memories—this is it. I’d give it 10...

My fiancé and I were supposed to get married March 21st 2020 at The Angus Barn Pavilion but due to COVID-19 and the governors mandated order we had to post-pone our wedding. The Angus Barn staff especially our wedding coordinator Kelly Joslin went above and beyond to communicate with us regularly. With such uncertain times they offered a full refund no matter what we decided to do, they hand delivered a chocolate chess pie to our home out of pure generosity for the stress of planning a wedding in 2020. Even though we have decided to downsize to family only and do an intimate backyard wedding because who knows when larger events will happen again, I can’t not thank the Angus Barn enough for being so accommodating and easy to work with during such a bizarre time for us all. I would absolutely recommend hosting any type of event at the Angus Barn in the future because of how well they cater to all of their customers. We so wish we could have had the grand celebration we hoped for- but we will definitely be referring any and everyone we know that is planning events for the future. Sincerely, One of your many...

I really enjoyed this place. They offer valet service and the gentleman who assisted us was so kind, you can see the smile upon his face, even with a mask.

We went for a drink before dinner, we were offered cheese spread, pickles and olives (all of which were tasty). Christian made me a Hendricks martini and it couldn't have been any better.

For dinner I ordered the salmon and potato mash. Both were very tasty, the meal came with a side salad. They served us with so many knife options and I thought that was very cute.

Adam was our waiter and you can tell how much he really loved his job. He made an excellent dinner even better.

We were told that typically the restaurant does 700 seating in a night and when we went, on a Thursday, it had about 450 which was crazy but you didn't feel that there were so many people.

I'd highly...

A truly amazing event space, the Angus Barn Pavilion can hold up to 400 guests, plus extra with outside tents. The interior is decorated in true Angus Barn style, with plenty of high exposed wood celings, a double-sided fireplace, walls of windows on three sides, and more beautiful white string lights than you can imagine. There's a centrally-located indoor stage for presentations and live music, and two side patios, perfect for photo booths, silent auctions, high top tables, or more seating. The lakeside outdoor area features extensive patios, fire pits, patio seating with tables, and more mood lighting. Parking is abundant, with several lots available. As with the Angus Barn restaurant, you won't find better customer service anywhere around. A perfect venue for private events, the Pavilion delivers the best the Triangle has to offer.

We had our wedding at the Pavilion in June 2023 and have endless good things to say about our experience. The venue is beautiful and versatile. We lucked out with good weather, but the different options for ceremony spaces gave us a lot of peace of mind during planning. The food was also incredible and I am still getting compliments four months later that is was the best wedding food people had ever tasted. Above all else though the staff made for the best experience. We worked with Melissa as our venue coordinator and she was absolutely amazing, very organized, experienced, and made everyone feel comfortable and special throughout the day. If you are looking for a venue space, caterer, planner, or all the above around Raleigh, Angus Barn is the best!
