Little Blue Macaron — Restaurant in Raleigh

I made a custom order with Little Blue Macaron for my wedding favors, and they did an amazing job. We had an autumn-themed wedding that featured our dog, so we asked for pumpkin-shaped macarons, macarons with hand-painted leaves, and macarons shaped like beagle faces. I had tasted Allison's delicious treats before (which, by the way, are the best I've had in my life--and I'm a picky dessert eater who has been to Paris multiple times) and I had seen her incredible designs on Instagram, so I knew to expect great things, but I was totally blown away when I saw the final product. In total, we received 15 dozen macarons that were all consistent in beauty and deliciousness. They were also very kind to throw in extras and give us 4 free vegan macarons for our dairy-free guests. We got to choose all our flavors; she even offered special flavors that she'd made in the past (like fluffernutter) for no additional charge, and she could have made a new custom flavor if we'd asked. We ended up having 7 different flavors in all--so many that I had to make a flavor key for all the tables! They were all made fresh on the day of pick up and were stored in pastry boxes that made them easy to transport. Allison is clearly a perfectionist, and her gift for pastry art is incredible. I ordered some macarons as a birthday gift. They are delicious (we ate a few before I thought about taking a picture for a review 😅). They were Baby Yoda themed (there were cookies which looked like Grogu, and then some blue ones to go with it). Not only were they very tasty, the texture was great, and they were very aesthetically pleasing. Even the box they came in looked really nice. I would highly recommend getting some cookies from here. Allison was wonderful to work with. She responded promptly, professionally, and with kindness to my issues.

Allison (owner and general badass) is exactly who you want handling your pastry needs. She is extremely professional, hardworking, a creative genius and hilarious. Need a Wutang macaron? Allison is your gal. Pretty much anything you dream of putting on a macaron, she can handle it.
