Overtime Sports Pub — Restaurant in Raleigh

I have always liked this restaurant. However, today I was taken by surprise with the lack of customer service. Hurricane Elsa is out and about here and it took me a little longer than expected to arrive. I placed my order and then called back to remove a item right away. The second time I called to remove a item. I specifically asked how long would it be. The man who took my order the first time and who answered when I called back told me twenty mins. This was around 230. My receipt for my order was printed or displays my order time for 2:32. When i arrived at 3:02, I waited while the manager proceeded to walk around the seating area straightening up and to the counter while she pushed in bar chairs to be helped. I proceed to pay once she did arrive and checked my fries which had been sitting on the counter for who knows. As she returned my change I asked was there anyway to have my fries recooked since they had just been sitting on the counter not in a heated area/spot. Room temperature was already cool. She replied no because its been a long time since I've ordered and that's why they say 10 to 15 minutes. I replied that I wasn't told that but 20 minutes. Which I admit that I was 10 minutes pass that time. Simply asking if I could have my fries recooked because it took me longer to get there because of the weather and standing water in parts of the road caused the manager to be very rude. She had no concern with my complaint and proceeded to walk away and talk to other customers who were enjoying a meal/drinks at the bar before I arrived. I told her that I would call and she said she was the manager so call. I will never visit this...

I ordered the usual and then ordered the seafood platter flounder & shrimp, coleslaw and salad were all a big MISTAKE: the seafood looked like it had been fried for the 3rd time yesterday and full of grease. I asked to replace it, and that wasn't an option (I had the BEST, KIND black female waiter) then a white lady with a ponytail came by and said she'll remove all but the salad and coleslaw it was good to eat👀👀👀ummmm, nah, I'm not eating THAT it didn't look safe= old, been sitting/spoiled, and salad was brown/black, tomatoes dark red old, and could make me sick. she proceeded to say they aren't a corporate business 🙄 what did that have to do with giving me FRESH food?🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ then she said she will take it off, but you can kindly NOT come back in here, this your LAST time and few other things she said 👀👀👀👀LOL! I've been coming here for years and never had a issue (I guess she was on her monthly cycle or woke up ill/cranky) nevertheless, I'll be happy not to return, and if this is how you treat customers you don't need any; do BETTER lady, it's not the business, it's YOU! (I've heard of black ppl being banned, but never thought nothing of it until now; WOW)

I happened upon this hole in the wall on my bike and needed to park real quick and go to the foodlion next door. I locked my bike to what appeared an abandoned storefront and bench. It turns out this was the front of the restaurant. When I returned from the store the owner was waiting for me where my bike had been. He proceeded to angrily lash out and berate me for locking my bike there. He really seemed to take it personally, removing the whole bench and my bike inside and then further humiliating me by making me march inside in front of all of his little raggedy employees. He concluded as I left telling me to exercise common sense next time. Lol...for one, neither this bench nor this decrepid little "joint" had any real traffic. He made it out as if he had a line out the door and people waiting to use this bench. I was in food lion less than 10 minutes. From what I observed walking in, the place looked a mess and wasnt busy. I wouldnt recommend anyone go there, not because of the food or poor location but because the owner is a crybaby douche-bag. I'll use that common sense you suggested and be sure to mention to all my friends, whoever (not that they would already know about this place) Never to patronize somewhere where such rude, contentious people abide. I can only imagine what working for that tool must be...
