Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Raleigh

I normally patronize this Dairy Queen weekly for the kiddos and the young ladies at the window are usually nice and very helpful. Today I ordered a banana split and asked prior to ordering if the bananas could be checked for freshness, because if they’re old I’ll order something else, the young lady pleasantly said she’d check and came back and said they weren’t too bad just a few light brown spots. I got home and the banana I was given by the young man who prepared it was very old, very brown and mushy. So I traveled back in the rain go inside and a much grown man at the register, who doesn’t greet me listens to my complaint and I tell him I’d like to return it. Not one apology for my inconvenience was given, not one offer of would I like something else (which I would’ve paid for) and his expression and body language seemed to be as if I was a inconvenience to him. When he gave me my change, the only thing he said is would you like to keep your original receipt. When I told him an apology would’ve been nice for my inconvenience he turned and said “oh no you’re good.” In this economy I work to hard to be dismissed like I’m nothing when I came in to patronize your establishment. First time ever to complain. But they had a new crew. Mostly high school girls with long nails and hair. We got there at 9:40 pm. The people in front of us ordered. Then we ordered and moved over. There was a puddle of soda spilled on the floor. I didnt stand in the puddle but where I stood was sticky. They gave my husband his order and I had to wait for mine. We asked one employee if We could eat on the patio. She said yes. We went out sat down and questioned because there was no lighting. Another employee told us we had to eat inside because they were closing and wanted to lock that door. We came inside and as soon as I bit off My sandwich and ate a cold fry. They could give me any more because they had turned off the fryer. Another employee told us we had to leave because they were closed. The other customer voiced her complaint out loud. They should have told us we needed to get our food to go. When I asmed don't they usually allow people to finish their meal and leave. She told us no.
