What a wonderful little cafe and wine bar. Although it is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall, it doesn't necessarily feel like your sitting in such a busy shopping area. The outdoor seating is vast, it comes with music and shaded tables to keep you cool, as well as tables for those who enjoy a little extra heat. Of course on a such a lovely day we chose not to dine inside, although if you would like a glimpse of the delicious food they prepare, a walkthrough the deli never hurts. If your not salivating after looking at their lasagna behind the glass, I don't know what to tell ya. Based on what I saw when we arrived, I just knew the wine list was going to impress me and it definitely did that. If your palate is one that enjoys a sophisticated red or a comfortable white, they will accommodate! Although the menu looked very impressive, we simply enjoyed the drinks and the excellent staff. Cheers!

What’s better than a place that includes ranch with their chips!? My point exactly - it doesn’t get much better. I recently tried this place out with a girlfriend, and I’m so glad I finally did, as it absolutely lived up to the hype. Huge portions, quality ingredients, and tons of flavor are what you can expect at Poppyseed Market! Honestly, comparing my meal, which was every bit delicious, to another recent sandwich I bought for around the same price, my vote is definitely Poppyseed Market’s Chicken Melt! Not to mention, this place is cute! Tons of seating, which is great considering it’s so dang popular. Even well after the lunchtime rush, there were lines of people waiting to eat the delicious food. Also, huge shout out for the self-serve section of take-out containers. This place is truly a great little market, and I will definitely be returning.

Poppyseed is one of our go to’s, especially on a nice day! For lunch, it’s order at the counter but they bring it to your table when it’s ready. Dinner is full service. There’s ample indoor seating and maybe 15 outdoor tables (give or take). We love to go for lunch, grab a drinks and sit outside. We always come home with a tub of chicken salad. We usually like it better with a dash of salt and sometimes it can be a little onion heavy but it’s overall a delicious shredded chicken salad. The chicken salad sandwich comes on a croissant (pictured) so obviously that’s a hit! The mixed green salad is delicious! It’s a little sweet between the craisins and vinegrette. (Also pictured) We also enjoy the macaroni salad and the egg salad.

First time here. Cute outdoor dining patio caught my eye so I decided to stop in for a light bite. It was busy but that’s a good sign and there’s lots of parking. So far so good. Upon entering I was surprised by the dark interior, such a contrast to the outdoor setting even on this overcast day. Large menu, nice display of prepared foods as you approach the counter to place your order. The person taking my order was not exactly friendly. When I asked if they had wine by the glass, he rattled off a list of options in a bored tone. Not offered a print menu of wine options ( it’s not on the lunch menu). I chose a Pinot Grigio to accompany my organic greens salad. Small salad a glass of wine totaled just over $16, kind of pricey. Both the salad and wine were very good. I chose an outdoor table and checked the online menu to find out what variety of Pinot Grigio I had ordered. Pleased to see it was an Italian vintage. No prices for wine on online menu.

I’m all about first impressions and being genuinely welcomed by staff, thus my 3 star rating. The young lady who brought my salad and wine to my table was very sweet and even went back inside to get silverware for me. As a first timer I did not realize you are supposed to get your own. Probably will give this place another try. Then again, there are...

Went here for dinner late on a Friday night. We were immediately seated as the restaurant wasn't too busy, and we had ample time to take in the nice ambiance--dark, some holiday lights, and cozy. I say ample time because it took 15-20 minutes before our waitress even came by our table. Kudos to her for making it up to us by offering us dessert on the house.

I got the chicken parm for dinner which was served with a side salad and toast. The salad came out along with some jalapeño cornbread--both were nice; the salad was refreshing and the strawberries were a good touch and the cornbread was...well, you can't even go wrong with cornbread. The chicken parm itself was decent but nothing too special. I wish the red sauce was on top of the chicken instead of below. The way it was served was basically chicken with cheese and you had to hunt down the red sauce on your own. Dessert was the best part as the chocolate chip cookie was awesome.

I wouldn't be opposed to going back, but the good not great food and slow service keep this from...

Not dog friendly. They don’t have servers so you have to order at a window. Which is fine except I had my dog with me. She’s only 10 lbs (a puppy) so I just picked her up and walked to the window to order. Some cook came out screaming at me that dogs weren’t allowed or he would get shut down. As a former restaurant manager and kitchen manager it was insane. I understand completely the dog can’t stay in the restaurant, but I was just trying to quickly order my sandwich at the window, and then wait outside with my dog for my order. He was so irate for no reason, he could of kindly asked or asked me what my plan was, to which I would of told him we only planned to be inside for 15-30 seconds to order and going straight back outside. Instead his choice was to scream at me infront a crowd of people to get out like I was too stupid to know dogs couldn’t be inside, I manage restaurants, I get it, and I get he has zero customer service or communication skills. Will not ever...
