My order was placed at 5:30 I was told 45 minutes I called back at 6:30 I was told if the pizza isn't there soon we won't charge you I get a call at 7:00 the delivery girl is in the wrong building she brings me the pizza 10 minutes later and it's cold I told her it's a cold pizza I don't want a cold pizza she said call the store I had already called the store at 6:30 and they told me there was anything wrong they would either fix it or give me back my money they lied they bring the pizza half of everything was to the one side like the pizza had slid and it was cold The crust was soggy instead of New York style crunchy this is one of the worst pizzas I've ever had $30 pizza cheese steak was dried out and it was only on half of the pizza they called me back 30 minutes later after we hit eight four of the pizzas slices that were not that good I called back the next day they tell me they'll call me the next day My payment still processing and then finally they just kept the $30 I will be reporting this to the to the food administration and their shop will be inspected if they're doing this to food I can imagine what the store looks like lies lies lies I'm 63 years old and cannot trust the pizza place across the street from my house do not eat here maybe dine and is better but delivery was terrible they call me back after four slices are gone and want me to take a picture of a pizza that's terrible so I took a picture They said the picture is not a good picture could I take another one I said just give me back my money they refused so now I'm going to go to my bank dispute the charges and I'm going to go downtown and they will receive an inspection I highly suggest to find a different pizza place Papa John's is better this was a $30...

I’ve been a loyal customer of Sergio’s Pizza for nearly a decade, but today’s experience was incredibly disappointing. I ordered a large everything pizza and specifically asked that the crust not be burned and for the toppings to be fully cooked. When I got home, I discovered the opposite as the crust and toppings were both undercooked. In fact, the pizza was cold.

I called and spoke with Isaac, who seemed unsure about how to resolve the issue. I offered to bring the pizza back and suggested they remake it. This meant waiting for 30 minutes for the pie to be remade and enduring Louisburg rush hour traffic. Instead of owning the mistake, Isaac told me that because I had taken a bite, I’d have to pay for a second pizza.

Alternatively, he said I could come back the next day at 11:00 AM to speak with the owner, something I don’t feel a loyal customer should have to do. I gave him my contact information for the owner to call me at his convenience. After some back and forth, Isaac contacted the owner, who chose not to call his customer, but relayed through his employee that “this time” I could bring it back and they would remake it. That phrasing made it feel like they were doing me a favor rather than making good on a subpar product.

I’m not sure what Sergio’s means when they advertise “True New York Style,” but I assumed that referred to the quality of their pies, not the attitude. Today’s experience fell far...

OK, I'm compelled to leave this review as a guy who worked his way through college (and high school) working among 3 different local pizza shops in NY. I have to say, their pizza was good! Not perfect, but good. I know that pizza can have a lot to do with who is making it, and this time, the person making had spread the dough out a little too thin making the slices very floppy and a little sloppy. I will be back though. I could tell by the taste and texture of the crust that this can be a great pizza. I thought I saw it being cooked on screens as opposed to directly on the stones so it acquires a softer crust that should have a little thicker bottom. Anyways, the wings. They were very good! They had a traditional, no BS wing sauce that's probably 1/2 butter and 1/2 hot sauce. That's how good wings are made! I was very happy to have some good wings, and close to my house.

Like I said, this was not the perfect meal, but I will definitely be back to give them another try. I have faith that they have some decent pizza makers. They got the ingredients, just need one guy that can spin the right crust and it's a great pie. I'll be sure to upgrade this to a perfect rating if I have a...
