Went to the cross link location. First thing I noticed was how hot it was inside the building. I am glad I ordered take out because no way could I eat in there because of the heat. Second I noticed one of the women tending to a child sleeping on one of the seats by the front door. Then she went back into the kitchen and never washed their hands. Next was the price. I know the menu was a year old on the website but I rolled the dice and in my opinion I lost. I ordered a large house special fried rice, and a small vegetable fried rice. The small fried rice was slightly greasy and had 4 pieces of broccoli, diced onions, a few sprouts. Very disappointed in the taste of the rice. The large house special fried rice was really disappointing. I had ordered this at another location a few weeks ago and I fell in love with it. But not this time. The rice had hard pieces mixed in with it. It was really greasy. If I compare today's house special to the house special at the other location I would give this 0 stars. Finally, the price. It was over $17 for a small vegetable fried rice and a large house special fried rice. My copy of the receipt did not show itemized prices. So I am left to wonder if the clerk over charged me because I am not a local. Needless to say I will never patronize this location again. To be completely honest I ate around 5 p.m. it's now 11:25 p.m. and I am feeling ill...
Read moreThe first and the LAST time. I ordered my food and the lady repeated it (shrimp with Chinese vegetables) back to me to confirm. Then I called back after speaking with my mom to add something for her. I paid for the food, got to my car and realized my food wasn't in the bag. After getting my food, I started eating it on the way to my mom's, an hour drive, first meal of the day(7pm). I couldn't even get halfway through it because it just didn't taste right despite how hungry I was, nothing close to what I'm used to. It was my go-to fav shrimp lo mein (simple). I got to my mom's to find out her order was wrong, chicken with Chinese vegetables, not shrimp. My mom was upset of course because she doesn't eat Chinese restaurant chicken because of the uncertainty of it, that's why she wanted shrimp as myself. She tried it and said it tasted funny. I called back and explained what happened. She had no remorse, no apology, admitted she heard wrong although she repeated the order back to me 🙄🙃. She asked if she had eaten it, as if she wanted me to bring it back (probably to resell). I told her I was an hour away. Then she offered to give me 10% off next time. Sorry, no next time. Needless to say, my stomach has been upset every since and didn't get full nor have the desire to eat anything else to make matters worse. I guess I learned my lesson the hard way with this...
Read moreOne star is too much for this place. The woman who took our order was extremely RUDE! We called to ask a question before going over there and she was curt on the phone. Then once we arrived and ordered she acted as if we were a problem. When one of my co-workers ordered his food he ordered fried rice, but I guess she didn't hear him or understand so she made his order with regular white rice. When he asked if it was his, she kept arguing back and forth with him telling him that he ordered white rice when he didn't. His meal was $11, and for that I would not expect just white rice with my meal. Anyhow, since another employee could since the frustration, he got up and started to make the fried rice while she complained in Chinese to the other workers. I was told this place was good or else I wouldn't even have gone there. It's in a shotty little shopping center that looks ideal for a stab and grab situation at any point of the day. Had I known we were going to experience this type service, I would have NOT gone. The food was average and had very little flavor. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN & I DON'T RECOMMEND YOU GO EITHER. There are no pictures to this review because the food was...
