I have never had such a bad experience at a restaurant in my life. My wife and I came about 7:45pm. The hostess informed us that they closed at 8:30pm. Which was fine for us. We were seated and after a few minutes we went to get our bowls, upon getting to the grill the guy grilling told us that he was turning the grill off but he would cook our bowls. I told him that we were told they closed at 8:30pm. He said very rudely as he pointed to me “we turn everything off at 8pm and start cleaning, YOU leave at 8:30pm.!” I took our food and went to the table. At this point the food was very steamy and hot so we were waiting for it to cool. Meanwhile at 8:05pm.they started cleaning the whole restaurant, moving chairs around and making the few customers left uncomfortable so they got up and left.
I asked the waitress if she wanted to give us boxes to go then we wouldn't mind just taking our food to go so they could clean and go home. She said “NO to go boxes with all you can eat!” I told her I understand that but you guys are closing and you didn't tell me that the grill would be turned off at 8pm. She said just this one time! We took our boxes and started to walk towards the door when the grilling guy started yelling towards us saying NO to go boxes, the lady came to try and calm him down, he started swearing at us and I told him I am just trying to do you a favor so you can go home. We proceeded out the door when my wife told me that he was coming after us running towards the door. I turned around and he was in my face, he grabbed my to go box and ran back into the restaurant. I went back in and he was yelling and screaming, meanwhile the hostess was arguing with him as well. He told me, you are lucky we even gave you a to go box, we usually charge by the pound. I told him just keep your food, I don't need it. My wife did end up with her to go box. In the end we paid $55 for one bowl of noodles.
This is definitely not the way to treat customers and to make us feel like the bad ones even though we were trying to work around them. I highly recommend everyone to stay away from here, even if its just principle. FYI the food was terrible so maybe they...
Read moreUPDATE: I left a 2 star review a few years back, but I wanted to update it to 5 stars and state that what occurred seemed to be a one time experience. Maybe a misunderstanding? Regardless, I have been coming to this place for years, arguably the best Mongolian BBQ place I've been to. The food quality is consistently great. I've moved 30 miles away but still drive here occasionally because it is definitely worth it.
ORIGINAL: The food is really good and the host with the blond hair is really nice too. We've been coming for a while with a great experience but on our most recent trip the cook told us to stop getting food cus he was tired of cooking when we went to get our third bowl of food. We thought it was really bizarre to be asked that but we kinda just brushed past it assuming he was joking.
Afterwards while we were at our table eating when he sat down with his coworkers he kept pointing at us and I'm assuming talking about how much food we got? We were flabbergasted to be treated in such a manner after only two bowls too. Very...
Read moreIf you’re interested in some amazing Mongolian food, this is the place for you. RC Mongolian offers all you can eat Mongolian food and the option for take-out food as well. They offer a variety of meats, vegetables, spices, and sauces. I have never been disappointed with my food. Your food is cooked fast and efficiently. Once you have had your food cooked, they have a section where you can get rice, egg drop/flower soup, and various sides. The service is incredible. We are always checked on and asked if we would like refills. Staff is polite and caring. We have even overheard staff offering suggestions to other patrons who were confused on what to get. This establishment is clean and well decorated. The price is reasonable for the food items that are available to you for a Mongolian buffet. Plus, they offer soft-serve ice cream as a free desert. They took away the water chestnut and spinach options, but my loyalty remains. This place is worth a try! You’ll love it! We are...
