I was really looking forward to eating at this place considering it had pretty good reviews. It's unfortunate, but I'm only giving this place 2 stars. It is a tiny place for to go orders only. Workers were not cordial, and asked me where I parked and then told me to wait by my vehicle and he would bring me out the order. This being a barbecue place, the meat should be the star of the meal. Well, the brisket and the ribs were absolutely terrible. They were dry, chewy, and completely doused in barbecue sauce. I wouldn't be surprised if the meat was a day old or more. The customer is the one that should decide how much sauce to use if any at all. I will stick to Badlands BBQ in Norco as there is no comparison. First the lady in the front has the most pleasant demeanor! So this isn’t directed to her kindness and patience. She is so lovely. But I’m sorry, if you are from the south you’d know for a FACT that this food is NOT southern. I was extremely disappointed. Everything taste like it was not freshly cooked that day. My wings seemed to be cooked in cornmeal and flour. Not to mention they were so hard! The Mac n cheese was nothing to write home about, it didn’t have any flavor and It was nothing fresh. We accidentally stumbled on the Radical Dogg a few days ago. It was the best find of the year😃. We, Native Louisianans was looking for a good fish place in the RC area or neighboring cities without traveling to LA. Radical Dogg serve the 'best' fish and Shrimp dinners we've had without making it ourselves. Everything! (not exaggerating) was cooked to perfection. The homemade mac and cheese😋 - excellent. As well as the seasoning for the vegetables and sweet potatoes😋😋 we will definitely be back to try other dishes.
