We live in Rancho Cucamonga and proud of our Route 66 vintage "Atlantic Richfield Filling Station" and museum on Foothill Blvd & Archibald Ave! It's always a joy to visit this historic and ichonic Rt 66 Roadside Attraction! My husband & I just finished our westbound Route 66 road trip adventure through 5 states from Oklahoma City, OK to Rancho Cucamonga, Ca where we live. We couldn't wait to visit our home town Route 66 vintage "Filling Station" to finish our 5 State road trip and share our Stories with the great museum docents last Saturday morning! As a momento to our Rt 66 road-trip in Jun 2023 and our hometown Rt 66 historic "Atlantic Richfield Filling Station," we will be purchasing one of their commemorative Red Brick pavers to help towards the rebuilding of the Filling Station's Auto Service Shop in the back. Support the Cause and get your personalized engraved brick paver too!

The historic Richfield Cucamonga Service Station on famous Route 66 in California is a great visit! Built by Henry Klusman in 1915 for William Harvey the first owner. Then in 1925 Ancil Morris purchased the Station and he became a Richfield distributor. The Station is an historical landmark and in 2013 the Route 66 Inland Empire California group became owner, curator and caretaker for all to visit! The Cucamonga Service Station also has a terrific annual custom and vintage car show at another Route 66 historic location-The Sycamore Inn! . . . . #history #localhistory #route66 #cucamongaservicestation #seetheusa #richfield #godisgood #richfieldboron #Cucamonga #gasoline #ranchocucamonga

Fantastic place, beautifully restored, staffed by really friendly volunteers! We didn't realise until we got there, but we arrived 15 minutes before their closing time. However, the volunteer staff inside welcomed us in, asked a lot about our trip and told us a lot about the history of the place. They made us feel very welcome and didn't rush us out for closing time, even offered and took the time to take some photos of us outside. There's a nice little gift shop of which proceeds go towards the upkeep and restoration, which they told us all about. Would definitely recommend stopping by.

The ROUTE 66 IECA has done an exceptional job of saving and restoring the Cucamonga Service Station on Foothill Blvd. in Rancho Cucamonga, just West of Archibald Ave. Open to public access with select hours during the week and weekend, the volunteers will gladly regale you with many tales of local history, and anecdotes about the acquisition and restoration of the station itself. The unique architecture and vibrant color scheme is quite simply from another time. This is the place you take uncle Bob and aunt Sue from Buffalo who will go home and tell all their friends about the Route 66 gas station that was right out of the movies. If you are a local or just passing thru in your yellow '32 Deuce, the station is a must do. Update April 2022- The location now includes a recreation of the small building that was (and is again) the restroom. ADA accessible,...
